4 N& `' H4 {$ Q* M, K- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
2 `1 f2 `/ N& h+ s5 Z- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
+ _' F6 k$ C: R& z9 n- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups( b- ?! z1 J8 ^) d5 U, t5 K
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs3 N i' u$ W+ F6 F0 }0 O; @9 F0 ]/ `
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

Key Qualifications:
) Q* {# w% H) ^1 h- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
0 Z" ]* p3 w# Z- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement9 ^4 A% i: E' |8 ?
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others/ g, z/ x6 F5 L& r6 j6 h3 U& l
- Experience doing program development
/ n" ^5 H7 W K9 z, t# T& m( X- Strong organizational and coordination skills
2 g+ N4 N1 e9 t! F+ ~6 v. t- Self-directed and able to take initiative
) j5 h. N9 M, N* @: [- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset; u. }+ ~+ Z3 s- O7 ~9 A3 ?. y
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license8 p% y- y$ t, e% A
