6 w7 j2 q' e* i3 V. M9 GTerms: Full-time (35 hours per week).
Compensation: Based on experience & qualifications.

Responsibilities:
( J1 V- O  r7 v: ^$ `% _4 G5 r5 _-        Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
-        Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
-        Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
-        Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
3 R, _9 U' p3 n-        Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

Key Qualifications:
5 K: F* x5 ]7 D7 N9 I. ^-        Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
- F# E$ x9 v! J- Z; `& x- B) ]-        At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
-        Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
-        Experience doing program development
-        Strong organizational and coordination skills
7 E) o$ G3 M( L. @& j& p+ R% D4 ?; t-        Self-directed and able to take initiative
. h; P5 \3 H( o7 Y7 [-        Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
-        Vehicle and valid drivers’ license

Assets:
-        Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
-        Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities
-        An understanding of the relationship between addictions and mental health
1 W  \8 C+ @4 z. H/ P-        Skills in marketing & promotions

Other: The successful candidate will be required to undergo a police security check and child welfare check at their own expense.
