On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:3 E2 q- W8 t% t# W$ m! |5 C$ X5 ^

learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
, \4 d- G# z- R4 U4 Vdigging for and examining fossils 7 A. {1 [- M0 H p9 |
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
* v$ c& O o" n8 t( sinvestigating insects 1 k2 M% ]6 W6 O
and much more!
3 [( ?4 u4 \# h! ]& a+ G“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.. |. z1 x5 g _
# j# `9 W! ^8 }& }Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
