2 _) s0 { w) u2 z! BOn Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.( _+ [( M$ f% y
; s% P1 D& W+ R! d% L
Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:

learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
* {0 a" ~: u( p. l! S2 \digging for and examining fossils * o( L1 i# ~( k6 g* f! {+ U
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth ) L L; T& Y$ E1 O( X7 X2 k
investigating insects

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation. F6 C& j# p6 }( C% S

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street. Z; X- {* D W) V
