On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

& |% b: t4 N3 s* r+ @1 `) |8 {Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:; v1 y0 T% }8 V& ^% i
# E5 R# G! |) J& C) rlearning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
* {# l$ a) d( g( Fdigging for and examining fossils
! ?$ r* K2 B: s: jexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth 3 | R8 Q& J. l' a1 w
investigating insects

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.- K2 D6 A2 O) z% |0 O3 v$ r

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
