On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

4 D# K! H) P; n& tBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:

& H5 @8 T1 r+ b( b4 ^learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut , A& K6 l* H% a0 S0 W
digging for and examining fossils , n! P$ p# R6 P l9 J
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth @" [9 x% L* ~: x5 L; F
investigating insects
; R! o/ I0 l9 [ A; zand much more!2 C/ M! A; y/ o8 `0 Q1 k
“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.9 A$ v$ B& q; B6 i' `

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
