On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.3 T3 {/ J. V' E* T! x& S. y r% n. X
) L# x9 N" ?9 `, }6 n- SBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:* {, D+ x* m4 Q6 y1 n4 u
5 h3 v6 J8 W1 F. Klearning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut , l9 w" O: s; R5 |) `- @
digging for and examining fossils
4 p5 \7 y' |% j/ O8 wexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth - h: N& }( j9 \9 n% q
investigating insects 4 V/ t5 r4 n. g! O! z

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.3 M9 g) {3 L. w ?: x" p

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
