Any input on Cutler-Hammer Starter?

- M/ }2 a0 v  n+ x% X# j- N After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the  start and stop buttons on DCS screen  , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again.
. }  M1 s! {# ^5 UIt is a cycle.

We isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.
Swap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.
7 q! O# I+ z  k' n: S$ I4 wThe problem should be inside the bucket.

When the problem happened, we observed that  the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.
/ r+ g. J. T) A! [" V+ @8 h, FUse a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.
( [# T: {# g6 O7 ~( xConfirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we  bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.

" b' r2 s" A; N6 F# XThe next thing we can think of  is the coil, we took the coil out to have a close look.
# `, d1 r- L8 r1 R$ eThey  have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered  the connection and tried again.
  R4 {7 Q; E  j' ` It is getting better  this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working.

The coil should be the problem, we ordered two of them. But it will take 5-6 weeks for us to get them.

Don't know cutler –hammer advantage  starters very well, but had been worked on AB switch gears for a little while, which has two different coils, one to pull the vacum bottles up which employs larger current, another one uses less current to hold the connection---if the second coil fails, it won't be able to seal the connection.
* D1 Z' \+ I" x+ DSince your cutler -hammer works couple times,  I guess 侠客行 is right, or the sealing connection is just worn out.
