Responsibilities: To coordinate the Immigrant Women Asset Building Program; To work as part of a holistic team and with the cultural community to recruit participants, provide service delivery and evaluate the program. Staff and the cultural community will provide on-going support and direction to participants under the leadership of the Program Coordinator; To deliver and evaluate the program; To supervise staff and volunteers; To case manage the participants in the program by developing Capacity Mapping for immigrant women and ensuring a Portfolio Development experience.& F/ b& s9 e/ ^8 X# }
% v, N: ~; U* p$ C0 d/ E% \ o( u! o9 HPLUS: To support immigrant women in the development of social networks and community supports, including outreach (home visits), if needed; To advocate on the participants’ behalf to programs, institutions and service providers; To ensure financial coordination and compliance of the program; To ensure documentation coordination of the program; report writing and the gathering of statistical information.

8 Q2 t a J& I4 Q. X6 I( USkills & Experience: Demonstrates strong initiative & commitment to providing quality services working in an intercultural environment with immigrant women; Experience in holistic case management;
: R6 o0 d5 M+ @+ \7 D6 \1 n fExperience working in multi-disciplinary/collaborative environment; Knowledge of Asset Based Approach, Portfolio and Leadership Development; Ability to manage time effectively, flexibility/open-minded; Ability to perform a variety of diverse tasks; Proficiency in both official languages is an asset, as is fluency in languages other than English/French; Ability to create a team/work collaboratively with other colleagues & other service providers; Ability to research; library, internet; Evening/weekend work required.

( h6 p& m# c! @5 L/ K% b: c# ]( cEducation / Technical Skills: Post-secondary education, diploma or degree, preferably in community development, other fields (education, social work, or related fields) will be considered; Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point; A clean driving abstract and car is needed for this position. ! w& ]4 z( `3 V, C8 K4 U1 ~
