# V* F" Q4 r. m. D: N( t; HResponsibilities:
-        Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program (ages 6 to 15)
, e* g) W- Z! p  m-        Recruit children for summer programs
-        Recruit and train volunteers for summer programs
-        Budgeting and record keeping
' g) P0 e/ N& V-        Provide orientation for parents
! }2 `2 ?/ I0 H& h  W-        Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
) H: z; A9 G9 m: W' q9 u1 T/ N-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
5 r6 @  O( p5 f$ X) i" c" ~-        Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
0 `% \& v3 f7 V6 k: [+ s7 f; _-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
% k' B! m+ A3 _-        Returning student to post-secondary institution in Fall 2010
-        Have current first aid certificate
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 25 to August 31, 2010
