Summer Job Opportunity for
3 }: \  R" @2 O/ XChildren’s Summer Program Assistant, 2010

Responsibilities:
-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
. X7 c; q% G- ^5 v3 y- N3 Y( K( ~-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
! w( c8 M9 O" t9 h( b1 T+ U-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Summer Program Coordinator
-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
/ c4 l* u6 ~6 C  m' Y" S; T. G-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
$ R9 d: j  Q, @0 A' ]+ A# ~-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
8 C* ^1 _$ g0 y2 K-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
% \, z$ p, k" n: v-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Must be a returning student to a post-secondary institute in Fall 2010

Other Information:
3 d* i- a8 m& Z; X- d: {, K6 l-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 25 to August 31, 2010
