Responsibilities:
-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
' ^/ B) S2 Y* K* y. g-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
# f' N# k$ E3 `- a. [# w' t- G- v-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
& Z/ I1 A  a9 b/ m0 @& z) p2 U-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Summer Program Coordinator
5 C5 n  }! G+ k, M0 V-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

! F* E! e" l* Q5 VQualifications:
: [9 h, o% t4 ~% j-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
1 Z6 u) z9 }# h-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
* u- Y% ~7 e+ P8 }6 X/ v-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
8 l" |/ m) _/ j# C7 Y8 k$ c5 E-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
( x8 ?9 u6 I& S1 q. p$ u-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Must be a returning student to a post-secondary institute in Fall 2010
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
) ^. D+ `1 Y7 v- i* _8 p1 n-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 25 to August 31, 2010

Salary
