Responsibilities:
* f$ N' v0 j$ i- {; W8 D) l-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
$ ~: Q/ [  R9 E. r' b' C5 y-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Summer Program Coordinator
-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
2 z: \1 j* f' ?-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
  [5 r, \, B& ]-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
) ^5 C. }1 I& x' R-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
' B+ F! g+ a1 g0 b+ X-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
! o; J- m# t- X! X8 r/ [9 P" l-        Must be a returning student to a post-secondary institute in Fall 2010
. K4 y% \3 L& H5 N8 k-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

) a3 n, B2 M2 @3 y$ W3 \-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 25 to August 31, 2010

Salary
3 I8 x/ C8 x. T3 _' z) }$ K# n8 i" ?-        $14.00 per hour
