Summer Job Opportunity for
7 @' [' P5 f3 @( J) A3 o7 bChildren’s Summer Program Assistant, 2010

Responsibilities:
-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
: F3 [. _7 v+ C. w6 |, U3 g  g1 L5 u-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
$ A& o8 y; _$ O" r6 c' h( g-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Summer Program Coordinator
-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

3 j5 J; h$ g! _# r, t* OQualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
0 e* m2 l' t9 M  i. |-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
5 L; |" t& g, v2 M: C; s; p-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Must be a returning student to a post-secondary institute in Fall 2010
1 m1 R* S$ |  L+ O/ v-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 25 to August 31, 2010
