Responsibilities:
-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
! ]% j: N/ [# x' r6 h6 c-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
$ z) L! ~& O, p- ~0 r/ N) I1 y: T-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Summer Program Coordinator
* k4 d6 x8 @8 q0 W-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

5 W; C6 U( {7 ^1 @9 a-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
: b# r  z6 l" j2 L-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
9 w  x  R' K/ c; V% Z) [2 H-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
9 b5 y, ^2 P4 g9 J# ?$ Y-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
3 q! q$ V4 p' `-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
! r7 e  A, \- l. G  h0 C-        Must be a returning student to a post-secondary institute in Fall 2010
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
6 k2 @& u. S# ^. E5 V: K-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
