Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2010

-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
% _) P( h: O8 C7 G- y-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Summer Program Coordinator
-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
1 P) c, h7 ~  c5 W" w9 r-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
% Z, p0 X6 d, X, B$ @-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
; c7 |  ^/ F' }: f. {-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
; r. d) \: K. [2 u/ u0 z7 |; K-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities

# K! D- ]9 ]- x-        Must be a returning student to a post-secondary institute in Fall 2010

Other Information:
9 a5 [; s: f1 c- E$ u3 F7 \/ C1 p-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
