Responsibilities:
; u& e0 e3 R* t5 n-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
4 G: m8 g$ V1 q* x  {-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
# I; u, ]4 w- v, h-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Summer Program Coordinator
0 c( ?# ]7 F. O# I-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
$ X+ C* g% e% _; S& K- k9 U2 Y-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
5 H1 g' F- K; g5 [+ l& g' n-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Must be a returning student to a post-secondary institute in Fall 2010
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

. H7 `5 D$ ^) k) y1 P* A-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 25 to August 31, 2010
