Responsibilities:
. Q! X3 _2 L. m  m) f% v1 [-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
+ k9 c9 B, t/ W5 c-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Summer Program Coordinator
-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
/ e  z3 ?0 e: ~# X-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
6 S0 e8 i( e: Y( {- u# t3 b-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
# T3 I# ~# k% f3 d-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
& r- o+ R% g! U3 V; B. o" x-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
6 v8 D) a2 ~' s3 G-        Must be a returning student to a post-secondary institute in Fall 2010
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 25 to August 31, 2010
