Summer Job Opportunity for
1 T) ^/ x/ h; M' P# {Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2010

Responsibilities:
-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
, o- X2 f; [2 B5 S-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
) M/ b: V/ B+ T3 `( A$ V; Z-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Summer Program Coordinator
-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
$ v2 O6 A6 o* X-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
0 L2 |% q  d: L5 Y( @+ V' T( F-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
, u# o, a' S  \# [3 d- t3 f8 D-        Must be a returning student to a post-secondary institute in Fall 2010
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
: |9 B4 l4 A: S) X-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 25 to August 31, 2010

Salary
