Summer Job Opportunity for
Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2010

Responsibilities:
-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
" l( B  F1 l2 k5 G# R# M- ?-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Summer Program Coordinator
- q" [( p; t0 G/ n-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
5 U, J, O& T' T-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
% N8 O; }0 ^' v1 N-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
+ B  x' C: g8 K  T* i& W. C# E* H-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)

Salary
-        $14.00 per hour
