Summer Job Opportunity for

Responsibilities:
5 |( ~8 L% e  u1 e4 N: P' x-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
/ |2 z" G* p. E" c& @-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Summer Program Coordinator
$ I; m1 P" x0 \* q/ N-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager
& G$ Y0 r, G, r* P
8 u0 R  r+ X0 z' J) l& k3 BQualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
6 z( G. ]( Z3 L4 Z9 z-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
% C# Z* s, ^* q" D-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Must be a returning student to a post-secondary institute in Fall 2010
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 25 to August 31, 2010

Salary
-        $14.00 per hour
