Responsibilities:
8 r: P7 E) s0 @+ I: v- g-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
3 a1 _) n0 D' V-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Summer Program Coordinator
-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
" ]9 L" E+ z* j* c, ~-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
  b4 b3 r2 B. N( u-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
1 O5 h5 `% D* U; Y-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
9 G9 r, X( s# b! z$ j$ i& r-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
/ u' \5 k/ c& x6 [-        Must be a returning student to a post-secondary institute in Fall 2010
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
6 G- n6 e" h. @: z- b2 b+ k-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
