Responsibilities:
% O2 y& O* F  U-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
( p# i* W+ \0 ~( F-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Summer Program Coordinator
-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
1 ]# Y9 a  V7 r5 ~-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
2 C% a! I) f# u* b+ o-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
# i: a; p8 S" z, g% `; r-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
/ y8 a+ a8 f* ?! B3 j% Q+ B& b-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Other Information:
-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 25 to August 31, 2010

Salary
-        $14.00 per hour
