Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2010

9 s1 Y$ b* S9 ?& P: \-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
! |4 O. O" M" V6 ?" m' S-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
4 S! S# N0 t- r7 G" X6 J-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
& [; U0 U+ p3 L1 c' l0 w-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Summer Program Coordinator
) `  `% d/ v$ O+ {0 `5 |-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager
5 `% K4 v+ G4 I/ W  R* m3 J
Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
7 [- E3 A- {! w) G. t-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
' @: |0 K/ c* d( N3 E-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
' M+ z+ z! p$ ]6 o  S# v-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
% {+ O4 O' i8 ^' ~-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Must be a returning student to a post-secondary institute in Fall 2010

2 p2 c  C" ^5 B; U' o( @-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
