§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers# D5 |& P. \4 `6 N0 E
§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution 8 Z4 t* V/ W3 l0 x( ?+ g
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
* U4 _- w0 |/ E/ R. h& l§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times3 Q. }3 ]; s* @8 W1 Y9 G
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
B E. o g* v F5 N/ _( P§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

\( F l5 t8 i5 L§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience

§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems* v$ T5 H7 r' H/ r. a. Position Summary:

Y/ j* T# ZThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation, n% U, |% o% A! M2 h
§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to
! `. V& O9 z) T1 ^7 F§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
- L- H# }, y) S% k- _§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access) z$ d! C5 C( V) |
§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures

§ Implementation and support of small systems technology initiatives in conjunction with SYSCO Canada IT
