What Makes Christmas Magical

During the Christmas season, summer and its body-conscious state of mind
3 ~9 v4 r0 d# O# fare distant memories. Hearty indulgence in the many foods shared at Christmas & J( A3 U' t# }9 g7 y
therefore doesn't produce the same feelings of guilt. Nevertheless, its not a 4 F: |4 b( h7 A  v% ?
pleasant thought to start the New Year carrying any extra pounds. So why then ' R& @: u$ A5 e8 F  g
eat yourself into a resolution to 'take off a few extra pounds' if you can 3 k1 s& |0 s! A) ~9 F/ x
smartly avoid it?
/ J0 P/ W# f5 E' R- k?Whether it's sharing cookies and candies at work, or having an evening out
7 ]3 ^, [/ m; E4 R5 g$ Wat a party or dinner, you can have Christmas food and enjoy it. While you seem
4 f4 _5 G' s$ s  B; Oto be eating heartily with a smile, the key is to have a secret strategy of " e2 V' k: J9 }  E& v
moderation. It involves sticking to a plan that can be called 'Eating on a
" _8 Q- B$ N2 `Budget.'

$ t  _/ d, T* ^# @are offered. It will seem as if you aren't in the spirit of the holidays ! A8 o- ~# ?, |+ a
especially since at that time of year everyone is usually in a festive and more
' V8 E* s8 K  u- g: }: hrelaxed mood, and the pace at work is usually slower. . l' l! ]. P* q" W: ~8 e
?A practical way to partake in Christmas goodies, for example, is to : E, }1 B8 e& o; z' W. r2 m
substitute some holiday cookies for say the bagel that you usually have with + i9 S' q% Q0 j! t( |
breakfast or for a mid-morning snack. And instead of just taking one cookie, 7 g, [" y) B5 D0 d: b4 U
from the platter, which is noticeable and likely will encourage a colleague to
/ L4 b* A. p, Ltell you to have more, take three instead. That's where the plan can come into
, D  @% e, M0 {play. You can then enjoy the cookies over two or more hours,ed hardy hoodies, because nobody will

and candies to work to counteract others that are being offered. Since eating
5 w0 n: F% d7 t: n6 O4 v) Shealthy is highly encouraged, health-conscious cookies will not be looked down ' u' l$ t1 |$ g
upon so long as they taste great. A box of sugar-free Christmas chocolate + e6 s) R5 A: _
candies for example will look just as delightful as regular chocolate candies.
