Around 2:25 p.m., Edmonton Fire Rescue received two 911 calls to 50th Street and 67th Avenue. One was reporting a fire, the other reporting that someone had been injured at the same location.

"The fire took place in a room at this facility that did have some sort of flammable products stored in there," says Wilson, "and somehow, this ignited and caused a fire."' R# Z( p' V% @9 L P+ p* V

"We had eight units on scene, with about 30 firefighters," he says. "The fire was out in just under 45 minutes, and was under control in 15."& ~. M+ a: z; A2 p: r/ C

"When crews arrived there was a male who sustained some injuries during this event who was transported to U of A Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries."
