Primary Focus  
Responsible to manage electrical critical drawings ensuring compliance with Enbridge Drawing Standards.

) R. h- a+ {5 p: w% Y: m5 GResponsible to provide electrical design expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

9 o6 b. H, C6 fResponsible to lead a team of technologists and CADD operators to produce new or modify existing electrical drawings in support of engineering and operations projects.

: ]$ W/ B- x/ }! R8 \Electrical critical drawings are up to date and accurate

Achieved through the review, update and development of electrical critical drawings (main power distribution switching diagrams, single line diagrams, P&ID's and communication diagrams) at all Enbridge CDN facilities by:

Managing critical drawing construction and as-built processes as established within the Enbridge Drawing Standards,

Performing site audits with operations personnel to identify existing information gaps and incorporate findings,
4 N6 v8 c6 b7 T" w
Engaging with LP, MP and regional operations engineering groups ensuring that critical drawing requirements are properly addressed throughout the project stage gates,
% x9 E+ K8 h  E: }# o6 w2 x
Developing and enforcing a plan to ensure that once critical drawings are made current that they are maintained and kept up to date,

Performing quality assurance checks on 30%, 60%, 90%, IFT and IFC design drawings developed by engineering service providers,

Applying design expertise with a goal towards continuous improvement.

Providing electrical design expertise to projects,

Providing project managers and engineers with conceptual electrical design for projects of varying complexity,

( u, P6 w4 t; G" w$ k& {Leading a group of staff and contract CADD personnel to review and/or prepare detailed drawings that are in compliance with the Enbridge Drawing Standards for assigned engineering and operations projects,

Qualifications  
Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma from a recognized technical institution.
0 n1 e' K% z2 ~: ^" }6 Q1 Y' e4 D) R
6 ]1 f6 ~; K4 I0 ]5 J, p- X, B10+ years of progressively complex detailed electrical design experience in an engineering environment.
+ R7 ^9 s9 O* r7 R6 V; X/ p: l
5+ years AutoCAD experience.
8 s" X; B% @6 i2 b
/ i/ p$ K) l8 \5 A, }Registered Engineering Technologist (RET) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) desired.
& U; [5 C9 j4 Y" w3 }+ l# o
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills.
