•        Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease
% f( S' d8 S0 C9 ^; H% V. O# H: t•        Advise customers on use and care of merchandise, and provide advice concerning specialized products or services
. G+ D, ~: m" O, M5 P( F; }•        Estimate or quote prices, credit terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates
% J2 n# z- s) Q' a•        Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease
2 n, q& q+ e9 ?8 \! I•        Prepare sales, rental or leasing contracts and accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment
•        Assist in display of merchandise
+ `  b% S8 i2 M. R' o•        Maintain sales records for inventory control
•        Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
