Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

" N. R1 c, p, W4 d9 L# S4 h# ?KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
7 p3 D+ v3 a2 F" K        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
8 ^+ `  V7 s: f2 g+ j5 L* r* {        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients
& u7 ~8 j( O) c1 M" a
/ r" O& |. w; d6 g6 r; u% k1 ?QUALIFICATIONS:
! z8 D' D$ [' C9 s•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
; J$ R. _; b/ ~) _6 R•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
# A; }% _1 d2 C0 l) d9 H  A•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
5 |9 D! q0 [' b0 V! Y* O& A•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
