Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
" b. a/ Q2 i& g        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
* d9 H/ w9 L( C        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients
* T$ |1 Q4 X) C9 s1 q" ~3 w% c
6 o/ J; m& j" P4 LQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
4 n. D2 Q& b" x+ l# f3 y•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
* I$ ?8 b8 k4 L4 `•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
: p' C3 R" t2 X•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
2 F% K# m/ W3 j0 C•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
5 s7 ]/ ^0 ~  Z2 B" b+ v5 `•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
