Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
0 Q7 r. m' m" X3 K. K7 Q: z        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
- \: y* V4 G% A% Z        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
5 @  v4 N8 }& S1 L# M+ f•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
& _# d' `$ h& W7 M•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
5 I3 H3 f+ B- i8 X: Z/ Z•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
1 F4 C& q. i! s•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
