Department Information  
* G, `5 T# I2 a( z: m Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
, }0 S1 Q# y& p/ Q' q Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

2 }; h- m" s* S/ SOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

$ b: b& _' G2 a( l# G% u4 kLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

- q6 R9 y) D1 j$ A( HWorking closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
! q1 E; n7 m3 KManage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

, L. X2 K, E6 u1 `5 q8 k9 aProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

K7 P7 U4 p, A% Z) ^+ q! tSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).  
Qualifications  
% Q8 `" _: }5 z/ i2 _* p Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

3 f; P- B, S$ i( W2 T5 N6 q! E  s10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

" E% S! x9 Q* i! J" A) GGas industry experience preferred;
7 _- u* R; \" Q0 `+ q
Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

Experience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

Strong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;

A high degree of personal initiative;

Strategic thinker.
