+ d6 `5 h0 e+ m& B2 ] Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

  e" I/ g' N6 o$ k( z" A Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

* c6 v' [9 p/ @  WOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

8 ]4 g5 i* i! sLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

5 C% Z) |; }1 o( u0 lWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;
) C- }5 I3 `2 ^0 c
Provide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

Specific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

+ d, o" J. H8 J; U4 VAssist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).  
& o% t. \: a4 X& P: u Qualifications  
* \, M& r* ?4 T Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

Gas industry experience preferred;
- }0 z5 I4 s5 X
Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

3 H( B% G' g  ]& o- a7 rExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

# G( |0 v6 c' cStrong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;
