; y; a5 B+ q* P9 i7 _Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
  ~/ z# U, B! X: g4 J# qcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
: R! M4 p" m) e0 Othe Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
4 y  I, A% F' r' c  _Customer Service
3 P& Y: X6 [4 g6 q1 K3 k• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
# U' P# L% k! L* R• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
( {7 N6 q& I: K( z: e1 Y4 {stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
7 h2 Y/ P8 v+ Ylooks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
" h& \, K% u  X8 z$ x) _9 {, |• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
7 D8 s" c& ]! {" R• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
$ i; N' Q: ?: a+ I: e4 N• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
- m3 U+ Y: x9 ]0 o: ?• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
6 z3 o: N) C7 j6 [• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
( M: p0 d7 Y, m. n2 F• Protect company assets at all times

* [& ]  F" O: Q8 G• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
• High School graduate
) Q- a+ y, k, A6 L7 t) ^• Criminal record check.
7 l1 }7 k4 |" ^• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
: }, X- p% s5 N# q% r' ], W• Good problem solving skills
/ Z( E8 `% _4 @! e1 `% }( |• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies

Physical Requirements
' U6 w1 q3 a- S: C) \- o1 E! `• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
