SALES CLERKS
Job Purpose
: T1 F/ O0 K+ N2 Q: Z' HEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
" \+ B% t+ n1 ]' S2 Qoperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
+ b: i  }9 c/ y. d6 q- ithat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
* a! ], F' D( a) vthe Store Manager.
$ X9 _) B  p) R& k: W1 ]Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in

/ D4 `( J$ X# o+ D! T3 B1 h* P• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
; o! {2 Y* Z: t. M) t5 h3 LStore Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
9 {$ g) n, [0 u) o0 `• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
( J1 U) e- q+ ~, E• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
4 B  S2 x8 m3 w% a  T  y& E• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
) ^6 t5 {: x( A" V• Protect company assets at all times
9 R# B: ?# H/ r1 B" L0 c2 p• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

• High School graduate
+ m1 O* A* |+ T, S! t2 P: V• Criminal record check.
' L: V. c# }' I0 b8 A* J. D5 T- Q• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
0 A: F: @1 s3 U. D, n% L) L5 Q1 ^• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
5 a; d" L; g' vchanges in strategies
Working Conditions
• Fast paced environment

2 n: u" r% ~) S. L/ g0 [+ g• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
7 R) d0 w1 \6 e# q5 f- J4 w! K( z3 B. c• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
