Our Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
% y0 D" ]9 S, D' w: OPost-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields , H! G q* R2 q) \" R& l1 ~. R
Understanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role
3 s* B& A& t) T+ A$ Z8 V! dExperience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants
+ R( J. z5 l/ S2 pExcellent communication and negotiation skills
( c0 d5 @; n! T0 Y% _% jExperience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments 0 k+ T: E8 ?$ U9 |6 B+ l( I
Current knowledge of greater Edmonton labour market
