Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
Post-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
Adult education background
Experience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
) G- ]( k* ^* kAbility to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
Experience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
! }: A9 W# q/ G( I; W8 RExtensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
* g9 ]4 \) ?( K: w2 u1 HComputer proficiency
. Y* w4 _; Q1 n$ X8 B# N4 p& SStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills
1 S/ _1 x5 m( N9 XUnderstanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
Demonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
Display positive self-concept
