Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
# v" T5 X9 [* Y" d5 t  qPost-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
Adult education background
# f' j9 G/ @4 ?5 ]Experience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
# }4 e, E4 T& Z$ FExperience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
( S9 {( ]+ r! JExtensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
Computer proficiency
% l( I; E; t: CStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills
& F1 B2 f8 c" T) `% {# lUnderstanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
Demonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
Display positive self-concept
3 f$ k9 i8 P4 aPossess excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills
