Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
$ V  k8 d) @" j0 ?# \/ Z1 oPost-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
8 g3 d, w. {+ fAdult education background
. s0 F) c. ^9 F( R( Q2 iExperience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
Experience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
Extensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
5 S7 ^9 s" c' X- l; Y" mComputer proficiency
% M3 Q5 ]5 N+ z2 U# u' n7 jStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Understanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
; ^( C: @9 w) y$ x& |" ]! ADemonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
Display positive self-concept
# M! z: e6 c2 e0 j+ U# }+ t/ O1 DPossess excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills
