Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
Post-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
% N: z5 P- Y* A( Q: O! Z; HAdult education background
Experience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
; p+ U0 m' `! l- r3 h( IExperience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
Extensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
1 H+ a( l/ y5 zComputer proficiency
3 a, M* s" b7 }8 N( |3 y5 TStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Understanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
Demonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
* [+ H* R! A3 B" e3 DDisplay positive self-concept
( P" y) @: F3 p4 a$ {7 ^7 Z/ wPossess excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills
