Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
Post-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
, Z. t; Z- J# e+ T: NAdult education background
: Q. k( _+ k, fExperience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
) A& F* z& `3 ?9 K% eAbility to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
Experience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
Extensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
1 p. j5 }+ p$ MComputer proficiency
& V. |, V# q% u; P! T1 ]3 y! mStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Understanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
( s& k; z! h7 M/ o% zDemonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
Display positive self-concept
Possess excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills
