Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
Post-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
Adult education background
! A+ @7 M+ a1 D* i( e' |Experience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
Experience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
; K' B1 X# U. u2 dExtensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
Computer proficiency
0 L, V' n: z5 h# }, h0 [Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Understanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
Demonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
% H. G! Z; Q, S: s1 rDisplay positive self-concept
Possess excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills
