Effective September13, 2010 ATB will be market lead with our Home Equity Line of Credit.

September 13th -November 30th, ATB Financial will offer new and existing customers a rate of Prime+0% for one year!

Customers can take advantage of this AMAZING, short-term offer by advancing minimum $25,000.00 new HELOC or increasing a current HELOC by minimum $25,000.00.

If your MTG is locked in with big 5 banks or Servus Credit Union and there is equity on your proerty, you can apply for ATB HELOC. If you just have HELOC with other banks, you can transfer it over to ATB as longas you are qualified for it. Please feel free to call me if you have more questions. Thanks!

评估费是$241.50，如果申请的额度在城市估价的60%之内而且房龄小于40年，那么不需要做评估。
如果title 更改不涉及private mortgage company，那么只有$339.00的First Canadian Title的费用。如果涉及Private Mortgage Company，那么就要经过律师，费用的具体费用，就得看律师收多少了。

如果根据11楼的计算有足够的equity，而且收入可以support的话，那么可以按最大的额度来算，跟以前的limit没有很大关系，谢谢

如果是这样的话，在现有的HELOC的银行转过去，似乎也不太划算？

那你要根据自己的HELOC余额还有现在的利率算一笔帐,看看划算不? 如果HELOC没有使用或者不打算使用,转就划算了.

HELOC的全称请看题头。有人中译成房屋抵押贷款，是refinance的一种。申请到位后，你可以根据需要使用，每月需要付所用额度的利息。如果没有使用，那么不用付任何月供。可以无限制的还款，没有罚款。还了后，还可以在额度内继续使用，有点像信用卡的额度使用法。

例子：你的房子市价$400k, 没有任何贷款，那么HELOC可贷的额度就是$320k.
市价$400k, 在TD有贷款最初贷了$200k（TD在你房屋的Title上也只是注册了$200k）, 现在余额$100k.那么你还在TD申请HELOC的话，可贷$400k*80%-$100k=$220k.
如果在其他银行申请HELOC，在不归还TD现有贷款的前提下，那么最大可贷额$400k*80%-$200k.
如果根据城市税单估价来贷的话，以上的80%换作60%就可以了。
