最美的世界小姐----1994年印度小姐
艾西瓦娅·雷（Aishwarya Rai）是印度家喻户晓的电影明星，在印度国内获得过多次表演奖。自从1994在南非举办的“世界小姐”选美赛中一举夺魁以后，她在国内和国际演艺圈就没有沉寂过，尤其在去年法国“戛纳电影节”期间，作为印度有史以来第一位国际电影节评委，她的风头盖过妮可·基德曼等众多好莱坞明星，成为当时媒体争相采访报道的热门人物。

2003年在英国《HELLO》杂志举办的评选活动中，30岁的艾西瓦娅（Aishwarya Rai）更以33％的得票率当选为2003年世界最具魅力的女人，力压英国新星凯拉·奈特莉（第二）和妮可·基德曼、泽塔·琼斯、凯特·温斯莱特等大牌好莱坞明星（分别名列第三、第四和第五位）。
