Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
8 }- Y( [# N' C' rŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
# O+ L: q% B* `, xsupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
- L  O4 |( T1 mimplementing staff wellness programs;
" V0 {* p+ t8 zŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
5 |7 R& {1 L# NŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
& ^$ f* |6 J8 d5 N8 w) ^Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
2 Q8 [8 A. O" _; UŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
; G( n/ T8 w7 h4 J9 n" k: \  @Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
, ?$ D4 s' s! J. z$ p0 ?% A, n2 hŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
; }$ F7 y% O  @. v" Q$ ALac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
: h6 y9 e+ U5 t; E$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
. `7 x: f/ W# _8 |& GIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
