Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
- a5 b8 g1 u. t6 l) t& K% m: R: wŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
# a0 L; Z9 q, f0 O: AŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
. h1 W2 H, h2 I# x0 KŸ Other duties as required.
) e8 }5 B, e  {5 x- S. S9 JQualifications:
; d& H8 X$ _' F: ?& D& P1 IŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
  u6 |6 j/ L& e4 Y5 g+ M# V* R  ?% JŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
( I# ^9 L! x; `( c( mŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
  q: I, V6 X$ }0 m  xŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
; O/ T: V# C: ]- ~) lverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
0 `  j* g4 l3 q; i* T& D$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
' U8 q- w+ w/ U* r0 D+ hIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
