Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
+ b7 Z  m# Z, w  `" FManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
  p! C& Q2 D3 H" ^4 ^; {The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
. G) U5 K4 K! [0 W' eŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
0 `- Q, N% `: Q9 u7 ~implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
7 |: A5 m5 ~. P; jŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

7 Z& I& ?8 s$ O6 l% |Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
1 @" b# b8 Q# q# keducation and experience;
. z3 O* Z% k1 P) uŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
" f; F: n0 y% X) X0 E2 Q$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
