Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
: U4 f- J& h( V- p4 zManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
+ e5 P! Y1 [* a, x7 F! ement as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
8 O& M4 W) l  ^$ r* GThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
; [2 J: L+ f5 D* ^+ i* DŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
% m1 [% B8 L# }1 y' F% B" ~/ M% Kthe organization;
; `: M2 W! r; z, ~5 lŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
9 D* v8 ~: E5 r1 yŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
$ j, [- f" ?6 x7 t% r# c4 AŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
# `' E/ s% t5 j$ simplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
7 j5 V8 i+ l$ S( w8 J7 Q& X, NŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
5 H( t3 L: m" O, VŸ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
+ a: d0 I0 L. F6 n: G7 q# _, @Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
  [' f& [4 ~4 {7 Teducation and experience;
) l$ g: F  D9 i2 ?$ l' xŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
9 ]! S! g6 |) T9 |9 g7 IŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
0 s9 e' d; D4 x/ Averbal and written.
9 \6 }& k, h8 u6 S: JLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
9 C8 Y% e; S* A% k* Y4 }5 CIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
