- d. ^( T: i, ^- l7 v Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

3 _5 d; R6 _) [1 ]2 `7 o7 [ Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
6 r; d0 G; R% f1 [' L+ U, g Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
1 s7 Y5 o4 X+ b5 O6 V; e Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
" h( `% u8 w' c! |' e7 X Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
: T/ y- B) K/ y+ a7 N" i$ r+ a Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

3 Q% X4 ^( K' z
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
9 m& P7 O& f* Y Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
