撞了警察的车

今下午在save on food(旁边就是警察局)停车场泊车, 不小心刮了一辆车, 结果正巧车主就是警察, 而且在5米外亲眼目睹了自己的"爱车"被蹂躏...结果本人平生第一次进了"局子", 而且还是"洋局子".
5 G8 X1 ]2 G6 e; i( l, A1 U想问一下, 如果补漆大概需要多少钱(对方估计$500)? 这种情况需要通知我的保险公司吗? 我的保费会不会涨? 如果私了, 需要跟对方有什么书面的材料吗? 请经验人士予以指点, 谢谢!!!

停车场属于私人财产，不属于公共道路，因此不适用道路安全法（普通交通法），所以不要太害怕。

警察的车子是私人车辆，和普通人没有什么不同。保持沉默，不要坦白，警察也得提供证人。

如果是你得责任，通知保险公司。如果警察停车位置不当，你也可以有所主张。

All depends on your insurance deductible, you might want to negotiate with him for a cash settlement. Is it your fault though?
I can't judge the damage here. Is it a scratch or a dent? How old is his car? Then see if he will accept $200. $200 to $300 CASH would be reasonable.

对不起, 前贴说的简单有些误导大家了, 首先需要明确的是: It's definitly my fault. What I hit is a car parking in the right spot without driver. 其次我想请教大家的关键是: 给对方修车大概需要多少钱(just scratch but pretty big)? 根据钱的数目决定是否要通知我的保险公司来处理? 如果私了, 是否需要跟对方有个final agreement之类的东西, 以免以后对方再纠缠? 谢谢大家的指点!!!

Repatch and paint will run at least $300. The amount is the same regards it is size of a quarter or pancake if there is no other body work.

My rear bumper cost me $600 including paint job. If you can convince him to go to let's say K&K(behind A&W on Whyte), which we went last time. Try give him an extra  $50 to $75 max.  for his inconvenience. I guarantee this will be much lesser than $500, and your insurance will not go up.

, [( z3 T3 T5 }" v. m我认为对方都估计了500$至少说明对方有私了的可能. 如果对方也同意, 找个亚洲人BODY SHOP去修,不应该太贵(500$完全值得私了).只要对方也同意的修车行, 不应该有太大的麻烦吧. 至少我知道的一个朋友,私了也就只是修了(当然有修车发票), 没有AGREEMENT, 也没有啥麻烦.
