请教关于 “闯红灯罚单“

11月2日不小心第一次闯红灯，罚单上有一个黑框内 ,有以下字样“ Justice  of  the  Peace  Counter ，Main  Floor , Law  Counts  ,97St  102A  Ave, Edmonton ,  Alberta  on   the 16 day of January  ,2006   at  9:00 ~15:00 .and  to  attend  thereafter  as  required  by law."

$ [, a! S6 `( M) G9 D请问上面的日期  the 16 day of January  ,2006 at  9:00 ~15:00 是干什么的，网上曾有朋友说可以去appeal, 能减少一些罚金，与这个日期有关吗？

Ok. You are required to plead guity or not on Jan 16. You should able to find your name (now your are famous) on the board. If you plead not guity, then a further court date will be set for you. It will take another one to three months for that.
