The ECT button (which stands for "Electronically Controlled Transmission")

power level and accelerate faster.  Gas mileage is usually reduced in
) Y8 `" p  H+ x+ v& z% kthis mode.  Use it when you need to get up to speed faster; for example,
- f6 h+ y( q& f( |1 m- v' B" ?9 Lto merge into fast moving traffic.  The normal position for this switch
is OFF.
