The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. / j% z' `. _$ G$ w
, H- F1 w/ M' aThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.9 A& a% n3 @- E: |; Q& U

0 Q. ~. \- H# L6 j( M8 e5 J/ t' `• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
. Q0 d4 ]# Q$ s• Answer multi line telephone system

( K6 e# O; b- S6 W: k8 Z/ t• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads( L4 }% M a+ U3 R: K8 {
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits( N$ u% j3 h: g/ Z
• Input and manage high volume of data
6 E1 s4 J; }. ?/ P• Update and maintain databases
1 |' \! P) ~) c6 C• Generate monthly reports and statistics
: d7 {, a3 j6 T |7 V* B• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation

• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
" H# l: U! V+ o# H• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors

Qualifications:

! |9 P9 e$ G: q" K* ^• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure2 _+ X0 u5 n9 U5 I
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS * u/ T ^3 i$ Y. P# U' j
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills& A# M. C0 w4 I8 ~7 f
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
& W; D* X9 s& ]* y/ f• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
