The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. ( t8 z7 t3 | p3 [0 A7 l! W

Reception:
' H" M8 T4 ^3 a4 P2 C3 _. n• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required. b5 n/ X8 n/ ]6 z+ V. Q% z: p& G
• Answer multi line telephone system6 L ?- x* q2 Q/ ?# S! Z

Administration:
$ I/ q7 T: K$ ~6 n. B I7 X$ H* [• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
: z& }* p2 h* a• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
, f/ V3 m; z) ]% j& a• Input and manage high volume of data
. P4 U4 ~5 d6 u& I• Update and maintain databases" H% L; F" X6 U' z$ m' Z" J9 `5 E
• Generate monthly reports and statistics7 w y' {. H% N- i9 Y4 k
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
3 Z' }: ?& N$ m7 [$ g• Process payments and complete weekly deposits K& x- [1 s# e _
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms4 }5 z$ ^) v3 r3 U
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
) L2 w+ S' `% j• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre2 s ]/ ^7 P g+ _
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients( a+ ~& Y8 G. c
1 e# G. a; ?& Q. |* p* CQualifications:" z$ b4 L2 J" b) c; d

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure" z5 V" [( `5 t
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
# G+ N' V) }$ [* |" g W• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
: O% y. E4 E) Y* Q& f• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work: H- ^9 y3 k: h0 S" h
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population: S9 m) ?1 ~$ u: e5 U
• Strong customer service skills

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset9 v- ^" v% u0 A, q
