The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

6 k* r5 u7 M8 U3 T" G• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required Y: D& K6 j! w3 h3 q) d3 C% ]
• Answer multi line telephone system

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads9 v: S: U+ ^" `+ [# _! E
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits. Z6 T R' j$ v6 ~0 \
• Input and manage high volume of data
$ D" |; P. }8 X4 I• Update and maintain databases4 F. ` Y3 K& L. g. Y
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
9 J0 c0 ]/ D Y% ~• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
. w: E/ @% c! W; d! n• Process payments and complete weekly deposits$ ?3 d3 _9 e/ h$ E5 C
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
4 A! P& T" j0 A4 ]• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors8 V4 h) R+ c6 V! a. |
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
5 @6 ]+ S+ b; @. z, {' N• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; {% D( S6 A) B: E7 }% V
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
; k- J8 z, V2 O6 a& k3 i3 c4 ~• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
