The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

9 |( J, H7 q3 L8 y; a7 MThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Reception:
& G! d b* A/ ?: i& r) q4 t• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required+ q, r" q7 z( S1 F( L: Q
• Answer multi line telephone system

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads4 c( k7 K8 X. Y
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
5 o2 M I/ G% X2 u0 J• Input and manage high volume of data6 ]8 G: h* w" f( a6 n8 e9 k
• Update and maintain databases4 F$ b6 S% W. l" d1 {+ `
• Generate monthly reports and statistics8 x; l! p! p% T: z* r& l
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
4 y* z# N8 `6 @7 f. Q3 l, J• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
/ D) L1 c' v& I K; W• Write and revise business correspondence and forms3 d6 R) T5 Y C" k$ A
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
, ~" F) A, L0 A' e' N• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
1 B" s0 c& w& [% [2 K• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:4 k" q( i" G4 {& h1 _
; O& W* f, E; E4 `) s# `• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
9 S# b( o6 l9 O. e• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 3 l A ]4 E1 Y, ?4 |* N
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
& h3 E& O! u/ [" S. E• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
) N6 Y9 d, A: ?+ d# Y1 P @• Able to interact positively with a diverse population7 o7 V' V7 U) e
• Strong customer service skills1 _% |) e; S I$ X
• Strong organizational skills and abilities8 J( d9 @- f; U* W* c/ H
• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
