, w& @2 Y4 P. {5 q4 |; B2 } Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
  `" a3 [" U. h2 e Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
) x" ]' a+ w" Z  U  B; x Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
; Y) X( V+ v  p% F  P6 [ Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
. b* O! ?7 z+ V( U8 e Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
$ W8 ?" c4 ?7 _0 k8 ~# G# W Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
1 i: R5 u* d8 s' x4 E- d+ R Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
( i* y4 O3 W, L/ j Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

' T! s+ ]8 _. F4 t. \' B2 pThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
5 m# S( s+ h# G: C5 d' E! A/ ^; ystarting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
