 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.' V: v7 F* t: m
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.

 Completing required paperwork.
' S& E! q! w% ?, V Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
v) D. |3 I, b8 E- C Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.; h# Y/ a; s, ]5 f6 X+ Y
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.

 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.# H9 R. U' d: v1 B& W
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager. J# V7 A) _8 I( E7 U3 A3 n
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

; {6 N! I' K8 J, J8 } Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
) c5 n5 q; w/ ^" [0 c. P$ j7 i6 D0 R Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.1 `# c3 |+ s- k9 E/ t
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.& t) Y4 S" G" M g3 d' {
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
7 G! f1 | N& l4 @ x a% S8 U Knowledge of community resources.
, r9 @' O; q% } Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
1 ^* g+ S: ?) Q: f* Q6 j; n y Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
8 g4 d/ o$ u8 a: N) gThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
