 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
' T# U5 _9 p+ ]: p( t6 U5 C S Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.# K5 J9 t" B8 M" a; |; U
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.! j' V4 p- [; @* K3 A: v ?& y9 X
 Completing required paperwork.
X" Y Y! e6 y0 R$ \3 j; F. P9 X Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops./ } Y" W1 q( E b2 u+ p
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures." y9 e- c3 }+ X
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.

1 `9 m8 e( _( X* R6 ^: X Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.; A3 X5 \% t7 }, P4 C0 D
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

Qualifications:
5 E# M2 T; y8 f0 e
1 v+ ]; a8 P* E: `: M Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
( P. b; K4 ]# {" m4 W/ _1 r Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
# \/ H7 ?3 L1 g/ k5 H Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
2 W, A6 s6 e- W U5 d0 g Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
6 C' \; \& l& q B2 ]# @# Z Knowledge of community resources.
# E; O) E0 C! t v! X9 l9 ? Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
v, V/ I. }) B! L- {0 l: H: w Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006. * F" l8 Z! {$ F0 c/ h
There is a 3-month probationary period.
