4 N% S2 ^$ ?7 U9 j Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
5 s2 v7 l6 X8 k0 Y Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
5 m7 W9 Q( z# C Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
! @* H9 h/ O/ w" H3 Q Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
+ \# g0 }! Z5 M1 k Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
6 c( o3 P. w5 H. u& S+ H Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
  r  }" C: @6 |5 d/ k0 a9 L  ^2 Y Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
: z' x9 z+ [, Y Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
1 Y( `' `! a2 b; R$ h& H: S4 ^ Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
! R$ n+ O" @" ^5 n; L0 Z1 S" ~ Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

% G$ l, h  n8 m& ~: g: P& x$ c/ S  d8 aThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
/ Q  x# o. c. G0 N- r7 e# e- f* lThere is a 3-month probationary period.
