Duties
7 ]0 _9 R9 c9 O" _/ ]" Z: E2 YAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
+ a- U) U3 e: b1 F( LProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
( u( s. P$ e( j B+ QPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
) ^+ J5 {% a1 v, P, @6 @Performs related tasks as needed' m5 H. o3 W4 J& q4 z6 q
Qualifications
0 P2 ?0 f2 q( P1 m; Q! C8 SDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred! a- F W: L) r; D
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred/ Q: T: D' w8 k- w4 N9 V* E1 F
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset) }/ L3 ~. F! o: `( C
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
! h+ J. y u8 ~7 f9 FFamiliarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit" Z% n4 \9 D6 R% K7 l$ e5 f. j
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
