Duties
m# w7 H0 Y5 iAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
7 M$ r* ~" `5 }1 n3 `Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required0 Z5 e% ~. _4 p+ [2 m4 q
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed7 _3 P1 ~) o& V
Performs related tasks as needed% g8 t5 T) k4 U' v6 r0 B
Qualifications- h3 B: q5 y7 R* `7 c
Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred& r; { j/ d' r* B6 I
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
8 \% d9 i5 ?2 P J4 C/ BSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset% B: ?0 Z0 _+ V. `9 {+ R, {
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred- K5 p9 W9 b8 z3 T( ?. ^3 d
