Duties
. N$ r- o- j" y( I& lAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)$ x$ K- W6 d; B) p
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required, `6 u5 U2 X! g1 R- x- t2 y& S
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed! U2 C G5 V3 k1 [7 x4 n. F
Performs related tasks as needed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred s% Y2 y8 X# \; D3 a
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
/ t' ~ U! D o5 C) \Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset3 t& H& A: i* d8 W0 s2 w8 O
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
7 j( n, t, b! t& d) tFamiliarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
