Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)6 ^# Q" r5 P% g: i
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required- s: M% ~- I! ^* B0 Y: Z

Qualifications' d5 _* V8 a5 q* g$ s6 o3 T" [
Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
6 m9 X- k3 t! l" h) q3 @Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
+ P& H' o& P8 c6 F8 K+ ^Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset) f- S# Q4 N; d+ }8 S0 m7 R" @
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred8 l, L. w2 S8 c0 D
