I read the book about time out. The way you need successfully is ignoring hime. I have two boys: The time out place I put is a small spot in their playroom. They barely can move in that place. Once we put one kid there, they just sit and face back to him. Try to chat or play with other kids, do anything ignore the kid in time out spot. Once time is arrived, if he is not angry, then tell him why he need put in time out spot; if he is extremely angry, just ignore him and play as normal. At least sometimes it works for us. Try that. Good luck. It is hard to principle the kids. |
