Beginning in 1995, ETIP:

What is the practice?

required for the Alberta workplace. Training includes:

• first-aid training, and

/ C* k% O* r3 mAs of 2003, more than 80% of ETIP graduates over the past six years have, i) o8 K% ~ N4 e! P% U# t5 k9 E
found engineering or engineering technologist employment in Alberta.3 E9 L# {$ g/ V- ~4 L, f& t
In 2004, 46 engineers graduated from the ETIP program. At the time of
8 N2 m: Z# ^/ u( S$ bgraduation, almost half had secured employment in the engineering industry,5 z- m* V( D+ ~/ @! t, Y2 Q9 ]
with over 90% employed at three months post-graduation.
