The Engineers and Technologists Integration Program (ETIP) involves a

Alberta is home to many foreign-educated immigrant engineers. These

Integrated training offers a blend of occupation-related skills, a work6 K# y& P; G2 X) b! s7 H5 W

English as a Second Language.

required for the Alberta workplace. Training includes:

As of 2003, more than 80% of ETIP graduates over the past six years have5 G# y; X A3 |
found engineering or engineering technologist employment in Alberta.
. L! w% m, k* i& ]In 2004, 46 engineers graduated from the ETIP program. At the time of
/ F9 m7 z* I% p2 \2 Sgraduation, almost half had secured employment in the engineering industry,
' x, Y6 B f" Iwith over 90% employed at three months post-graduation.
