Earth Hour is a global lights-out phenomenon led by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to show support for action on climate change.# r% K: C5 O. S& n0 F

Earth Hour began in 2007 in Sydney, Australia. More than 2.2 million people across the world turned off their lights.

1 x) ~1 Q n6 m5 H) v9 M2011 will be the fourth year that Edmonton participates in Earth Hour. Earth Hour gives us all a chance to reflect on our energy consumption. It is important to continue to make changes to your everyday lifestyle and show you care about the planet. 4 p V. L) c3 X
