Graphic Design Specialist

FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.

5 y0 R% i+ a6 dDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
$ ~- R0 W: _. ~•        Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms.
•        Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
2 [% I% d8 N8 V; J•        Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.

3 ?) R$ N$ m3 |9 [( QSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
•        Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
•        Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
•        Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
1 X, a/ ^" N2 ^" @5 }7 o•        Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.
$ n6 b+ p) a4 l( F, i" o& q! r•        Proficiency in use of the English language.
•        Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
•        Ability to effectively multitask and work under pressure.

•        Strong customer service orientation.
