An arrest has been made in connection to the death of a York University student last week.- {# r( k! E- d& S3 o3 w$ F2 p7 M
$ i" G) @) [) _7 H) zPolice charged Brian Dickson, 29, with first-degree murder in connection to the suspicious death of Qian Liu.6 e/ d7 F6 d1 s3 o1 W

The 23-year-old was found dead in her basement apartment late last week. ) V: s$ S* |5 \5 r$ [" p

In a brief news conference Wednesday, police announced that Dickson had been arrested, but appealed to media not to publish his photo.

C G- l8 }. O$ e5 t" G) RWhen Liu’s body was found Friday at 11 a.m., after an intruder interrupted a webcame conversation with her boyfriend in China, at least six detectives were able to swarm the scene immediately.
