) I" o6 i' k2 T+ lWorking closely with the distribution and warehouse teams, this position is responsible for load planning and balancing for Southern and Central Alberta

JOB DUTIES:
4 K( ?8 ^( ?7 {4 ]4 D. l3 l4 O' e: z1 X        Balance loads efficiently in order to effectively utilize line haul trailer capacity;
        Load Tendering & Scheduling of Commodity Shipments
2 a, @+ ]3 @7 s0 u        Operational communication with all Transport providers
        Booking of delivery appointments when required
: }  Z% u* B) S        Make recommendations in order to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs
        Various reporting functions, including cube analysis, carrier performance & compliance, etc.
        Liaison between Route Settlement, Warehouse and Distribution;

        Other duties as assigned.

8 O  H& r7 U" HQUALIFICATIONS:
        High School diploma or equivalent;
+ C! b. q' p% |        Post secondary education related to business or accounting is an asset;
8 u  z( }8 g4 o7 `        Experience working in a Distribution or Warehouse setting;
4 I0 a% I( x( {* k        Experience in the transportation industry an asset;
8 _' P5 |2 t$ X* f( y8 G' ^, T        Proficient computer skills, including Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
0 X) s. `5 s' ~        Self motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and establish priorities.
0 o% u% l/ F: O; l6 S        Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
        Strong organizational and analytical skills.
