3 ^  w2 s2 I# d9 x! w/ u+ e- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
9 ]0 K! O2 |/ O! X, r" d3 y- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
-  develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
' C' M3 S, @: W9 h- provide support to ISP staff
& b. q3 Z( T4 u5 t- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
4 a. W$ f  w' Y/ ?2 o- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
6 v, r( O: Y* f  P& h- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
1 W+ [2 `# X4 j- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
: a8 Y6 d' i  ^! Q% U  ]9 M3 J1 W- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities
6 v) o0 e' W0 U1 h! _7 I$ U6 X. A: {- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned

- W8 y# M3 E5 U2 z' WQualifications
  L. e6 H, t4 [: `- P- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
1 R) K( K( t+ C! M. j  Y+ }" j4 G- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
, x) T  K' i9 ^* X6 w$ _2 E" H7 Y6 T- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
9 b2 M& V0 f) g5 A2 j2 G( Y9 `8 Q- good interpersonal and people skills
- good organizational and coordination skills
) b; R- A6 m  V6 D, z6 ^% k& a- valid driver’s license

Other
- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense
