- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information: R X% l N8 z/ f, _$ W, j
- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.) m- k7 w' [; H* |2 D
- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
) E* I9 f# f+ G, A0 `0 a8 O- provide support to ISP staff
% u9 O/ T6 h% j7 \% R6 z* k) h- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
$ h6 }) D, I: z! h8 N" o2 p5 O- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
' q: H5 |( u1 a8 Q# w( \- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated& v) c. I7 F) n, L& M; ~
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants4 v7 n9 Y* {; y, e/ L2 H" ?
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals: W* _2 ^( n3 x7 j
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder2 ~6 x$ x9 N4 M) d8 Z- U
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.

Qualifications- y$ P! x7 J/ _ X( `1 V
- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered, ]* b3 S. W9 a3 e' B& c! _
- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
# C- \. Z/ ? t0 I+ q, b- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
g$ O* o1 z+ K. T- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software6 U2 l, Y p7 `
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)2 j( p- `3 B4 F
- good interpersonal and people skills# t$ N3 i( h9 |5 e: P& p9 O* r
- good organizational and coordination skills* Q2 k- J6 Q3 `+ ?3 V% t# F O
- valid driver’s license. R+ ?% E( S9 X7 ~
