请教CPP/EI Exemption是什么意思

大家好，我才到加拿大上班，税务方面一头雾水。

5 w$ m2 l( h$ q7 ^7 C/ v入职时小蜜给我一份CPT1表格填写。"Aplication to Canada Revenue Agency for CPP/EI Exemption". 请问这个表格是申请什么的？是申请不缴CPP/EI吗, 还是其他意思？

! r' {5 M7 i0 b4 S2 n9 e4 o4 c表格里有这么一段话: ”XXX must make CPP and EI deductions from workers. However, if you interpret your income to be CPP/EI exempt, you must apply to CRA directly for a ruling on whether your employment is pensionable and/or insurable, or both”
