3 |8 J! a, O( W+ R) A9 uAn Edmonton man who operated a north-end daycare is facing numerous charges in connection to alleged sexual assaults against children at his daycare that span over 11 years.% m$ a1 f T/ m4 D" f( i# Y+ n
: N) O1 b+ F; YWalter Edmund Nash, 60, and his wife had operated Montrose-area daycare, but the license was revoked back in 2002. Yet police say the couple continued to operate an unlicensed day home until late 2010.7 F4 H* W$ T4 f2 m+ ^. J

The 60-year-old is charged with four counts of sexual assault, four counts of sexual interference, and two counts of invitation to sexual touching.

: E( `! J# B7 o- {3 K: O NThe charges come from four victims, all of which were girls ranging in age from three to seven-years-old. The first allegation was brought forward in 2001, and police say the most recent allegation was brought to their attention in December of 2010.
