1. It's cool. K. H" L3 f5 L% \+ w6 }
+ Q0 C' n5 d* }- | J: g. w
(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard.
; e( q' Y; t& r4 u# O5 [% k; ] That's cool;he is cool;this is cool.
% }* g( r6 R2 S+ B8 W Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)
+ S, [+ q% ?8 H2 }9 F% o: s0 u9 \5 V ~7 @) [6 l. F5 p3 a/ d2 a6 o
主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。
2 Q2 u2 F1 ~2 U- } She (He) was cool in the past. / {) x) P' b1 j6 Y- m& k
That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫)
8 ^/ U }* K0 h5 V, j7 p He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人) 3 `: N5 J. B b4 U7 A
; ~/ ^& _9 X8 i* Q
但是如果说:Are you cool? F$ ]: ]# m: j: l
She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not
2 Y* C+ C3 W3 y& i- U4 k6 t' U1 I emotional.

2. Are you trippin'?, x5 L- t9 ~' ^2 s, C
! d: _$ E3 r! 这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?)
, s v' i- W. ]+ C/ m' t. T) |7 ? They are trippin'. (= tripping)
+ K; V' Q/ b, ~; ? She (he) is trippin'. ; X( r" g! y# C' J
Mr. A must be trippin'.
( j. [9 k+ A l

3. He is a nerd- k6 G9 n" {6 a l" j
3 @7 z+ v# t0 F: B4 d. [. (A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.) (IQ = Intelligence Quotient ; EQ = Emotional Quotient) nerd 可用复数,动词也能用其他时态。
0 R' l+ x$ M( N He used to be a nerd in high school

5 L7 k- }; I- q4. Yo baby
9 a1 I( ?. w, l; R2 h* T8 U" J$ j' X/ |0 v; n5 P
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说: 8 Y l$ M& d1 P7 ^2 Q
Yo baby, are you trippin'?
诸如:- ?8 e3 f3 L: w9 I
May I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before. ) K. @/ O( u1 ] r& |3 p- }% ]- N0 H
Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?) 1 I3 H' a4 |. _, j M; k7 c

(a girl or woman gives sex freely without charge),也就是说:She is very loose. 或 She is a loose woman (girl)。
! s( D) _4 \1 A- U They are (were) hos. ) `& I4 ?! Y6 y C/ E9 R! F2 g
There are quite a few hos in high schools. (a girl or woman is paid for sex.) 6 a+ Y' S0 A( v- K

有时年轻小伙子也用:I am off. I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again. / e b0 _' Q: Q' @5 o
