1. It's cool:cool
(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard. B J6 a& N+ V) u! R
( _! _2 \- w) [+ S
That's cool;he is cool;this is cool.
. p* B+ d+ z) G9 ?/ z8 u8 F3 v% \1 J3 a
& U' ]- D4 D- a* |, [ Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)' {' ]% E' R' ]/ X$ U
g5 h: o# `# f* h# S+ o# y
主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。
4 B) j2 U3 `: v8 K
% ^% \ M* U. S- U0 X e$ ] She (He) was cool in the past.4 B/ f! K8 }, I4 ]
# D! t% f9 M8 c1 W+ ?: h& v That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫)

3 m) P5 ^/ Q2 }& R6 B6 ~, i
但是如果说:Are you cool?
4 @% q* ?4 ~) v" v5 h* I/ Z& H7 v
She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not: E3 a; N, k8 h$ @

Are you trippin'?:trippin' 这个字,是由动词 trip 演变而来。 这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?)
% Q" G9 X, D% e: W# m+ q7 Q: s# N. @2 {1 C% J
They are trippin'. (= tripping)
. ]( H! C) L5 Y9 @! u
0 i/ N8 q' ?' r# }; U) N9 \ She (he) is trippin'.

% I; |0 [& f9 s, z1 l8 _1 A Mr. A must be trippin'.. d. [7 ?4 r! W& ?, E; _1 `# v

He is a nerd:nerd (A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.) (IQ = Intelligence Quotient ; EQ = Emotional Quotient) nerd 可用复数,动词也能用其他时态。
. O7 M+ ^' W6 K6 P% g# `7 w7 k; I0 {( ?0 I1 T- @4 ^
He used to be a nerd in high school.
! o& s1 x: `9 q V. s& R+ ?# r1 _/ S k$ _% `: w1 i$ u; V9 R
Many Chinese students are(或 have been)considered nerds.2 z0 E/ ?( A( [6 B$ }( O
4 A, ?0 a. V+ I. R' t/ W% H# G' P1 _- h& k( k
He is a computer geek. (意思是:虽然他是书呆子,但电脑很棒), h; h" e1 Y" |& D
2 [/ k- H' h1 o!
. {' I& @7 I8 A7 g
I don't like him because he is a jerk.2 v- o% E+ `* R( U3 K- ~# y/ F

5 ^8 p3 p |3 }3 s" T
( n5 ~8 e a. v4 \( q3 l( i/ G yo”,由於女子很漂亮,很吸引人,他想与她交谈。(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说:
. `9 y+ z' ~. J' r2 b1 s4 u% v' w2 y0 R2 G6 |0 H0 s, ?6 ?* J
Yo baby, are you trippin'?
# A1 |8 `6 ^9 X! Y6 Q6 c May I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before.9 V3 `- _3 B# b) n
- u1 G' F" F! e* g
& k( `) g/ x# h- T$ w5 @$ D. ~# r7 e" g J
Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?)! ^8 y- y% Z5 S: Q& v N, U
) c6 d: t! F% I3 p" f 5. Catch you later! (a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等)% E: P/ H" S9 l; X5 u6 G
