Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
3 y. e) g# F7 Y- UCamp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
( |) [! H' J+ n7 k2 ?Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
& g8 ]3 W+ i- V- Q* E# G*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

Duties:
$ }6 }& G4 u8 W3 j; vTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

( z& r7 T" i3 D0 S, [$ C( k Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
) b: B' Q/ Y" `# n& V& m: X Take attendance if available
( s  w# \+ Z/ ^/ ?4 V" w Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
9 m$ [2 E3 O" O& R5 s Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
: t5 R# e8 W( o, C Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
* b% E9 [, p, e- I; V( f Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
1 e7 B  w, {/ U5 x, \# k Assist in program planning/design
6 z- V+ K5 ]. Y. `2 A Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

Attitude/Skills Requirements

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
* l' a" q  A8 { A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
