- k! ~+ W2 W" m5 ~8 UDuration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
& [# s) k% Z7 `+ _, \Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
% h" N8 T7 S* K& X4 ]/ Q$ ~Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

( ^: C* C9 |3 WDuties:
' t8 K8 l" Q/ \, G* q* A- GTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

2 d0 F* Q$ {& y0 Y: C$ j Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
; o8 X$ _/ @$ q" O3 B Take attendance if available
 Provide positive modelling to youth
( B/ L/ a% G9 Q# H" ?; A4 T1 ` Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
' l) B" O! G1 w* [$ h Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
4 `' F* o; [/ x& d Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
) E6 u, o: |! M5 K" ^ Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
. z9 |  Q" ^  m2 K3 T Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
8 q7 ~* |% p- w: @ Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
/ z# B' F5 F* C; P$ n Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
' J- s1 `5 z7 E2 |3 f0 ^, s Assist in program planning/design
! m6 v: j1 i0 H  ?; }, [ Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

Attitude/Skills Requirements

% _- O9 l7 p3 {& j0 E  k- f2 R2 [ Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
+ P. @3 F. A5 l6 p Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
$ ?6 W) V. R6 Y: L0 E4 Z" w# h( B3 h A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
3 q# u* G% ?/ x! q" I3 k' @- f Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
  P3 q& o4 L5 J, u! G; {9 @3 q5 e& u Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
