Position:        Youth Leader
Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
: N& E! J- _7 t* i$ @, [" C8 f& lCamp 1 – July 04 – July 14
. c; m0 D- @" F* S" ZCamp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
: X% h1 l8 E: B1 m* W4 W*might work in other time in some specific days
8 [$ D7 P+ r) W- q9 z; I1 _Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

Duties:
9 h+ E7 \! f' W8 R: j- fTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
# c% j( u2 c* `) ?- R" ~
  _4 {" S/ `& y/ j8 _- @ Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
 Provide positive modelling to youth
2 r% i3 c8 Z% N9 E. f# Q- h" K& [& E5 a) e Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
 Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
; m+ ]3 G! L* u% t4 L% D9 f Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
0 d( }* W: W9 Y6 `# g' A0 n* g Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
  l1 I  l8 Q( ]: H# g! R& ` Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator
  Z! Z' v7 h) Z. ^  \
Attitude/Skills Requirements

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
# l6 Y5 C4 I( h5 z& P9 f' y: a A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
, r% V& i  c" p) r Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
5 H! W# H% W0 ?$ r* D7 g0 d Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
