T.A.N.G. Youth Program is an educational and activity-based program aiming to equip

Each session presents concepts through interactive activities that encourage active discussion and participation., u# H4 v: [, ]( [9 N7 i! n

These activities will enable youth to:

Regular Spring and Fall Group Sessions: runs on alternate Saturday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m.
/ N/ {# F7 I) M5 FSummer Group Sessions: 2 consecutive weeks in July from 9 to 5 p.m. daily [7 e% S0 a1 L; |! l+ ^' A# y
2 consecutive weeks in August from 9 to 5 p.m. daily

Who can participate?) ]) v' V. S8 a- z% q
Asian youth aged 11 to 15, who are new immigrants or locally born Asian living in Edmonton or surrounding area.

What is the cost of joining the T.A.N.G. program?$ A* T+ G7 L8 z% A7 H7 T! Q: b$ e
It is FREE and space is limited to 15 to 20 participants per group.

 Distribute promotional flyers to schools, churches, communities and social services agencies
+ x* o z5 @/ p* j: w Facilitate and/or coordinate activity-based function such as to host a gym day or sport tournaments or workshop on personal growth development

 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions2 t$ B8 i% y# t% D$ s$ B

 Enforce safety rules during program sessions and fieldtrips

 On-going volunteers (we have volunteers dedicated themselves to the program for almost 4 years): g9 j7 u; m0 Q0 F" Y; F5 M
 One time volunteers: minimum commitment is one seasonal session, i.e. 8 – 10 sessions in Spring, Fall or Summer
