On September 25, 2011 the John Janzen Nature Centre will launch the Natural Treasure Program, an exciting new initiative from the Robert Bateman Get to Know Program.; k" ?$ S! _5 _
0 r7 k; {4 c9 x8 rNatural Treasure uses technology to provide youth with a unique outdoor experience. Participants follow a map or GPS device to complete an outdoor scavenger hunt by finding clues hidden around the Nature Centre.2 ^( S: f: F7 H, W/ G3 }
" ]4 a% y8 n- @+ ~Next, participants head online for some fun challenges, games, and stories, all of which relate to their experience outdoors. The program is geared towards helping youth get to know Edmonton’s wildlife.
