The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
9 [+ l. J; E# `, @  H• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
; D6 f7 {& {  |* C8 m• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
, u; q1 A: x+ r5 B; ]' x1 D- z• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

( R0 B8 i: I( f) S& EMinimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
; O' F- R' D6 f5 c• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
& Q9 C2 e# U" g- \2 wTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
6 b2 F, c/ N- n) X• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
