The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community

• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
7 u! Z6 p+ L: T# @! u• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
7 Q) p) m# m3 g) ~1 A' H& v• Medication Administration
1 \# e' M: ^  D8 u$ _8 p• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

( L( ~0 E$ @) w# |  P. `- Z& sMinimum Qualifications:
Education
' f7 d9 p6 h3 N9 R! S, Z• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
" r5 L* W% W# E$ |0 a' Q• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

* ~# s$ W2 w, ]• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
