The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.. • Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community* p6 l7 y. A7 i& }2 N
• Program implementation
2 d) M e, H+ G; ]8 L• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
& f/ @& ~- u1 V. Q• Facilitation of recreation and leisure6 Q) O8 T( X0 ^. u8 \. @3 N2 F3 U
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals: f" f' A- M( N5 F" E+ f* \% ^
• Behavior management1 G7 J c- `: p
• Medication Administration% k6 `3 w7 }& j( P: H. p
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:

• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
4 a, \6 _1 s' D% MTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee), |4 U D& E2 W: k7 x& F
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)2 u' ^* Q9 u% M/ s; [* F- P* q
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)5 g1 e2 V2 `9 Y$ ?0 R1 z2 Y8 ^4 d
• Standard First Aid with CPR6 V8 z* K ?+ m/ V: i
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
