# f% T# L2 S1 Z; N3 S2 b% L- V8 SPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. ! d2 l3 K4 H: Y1 _

2 {0 K; v4 _0 v) y, v' l• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person, n* q3 ^& {) ~1 ~: N, x
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
3 s6 i9 K0 V+ q• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately% ?% W1 Y1 j1 a' A# K5 V
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter, t% K. |. a$ Z9 i6 T
• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings5 P. Q1 g! j$ s+ y
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
* B& G Z3 i/ v9 ^& m6 v• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker5 w" e1 X6 t T+ t
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events$ ?8 h6 Q3 C( _" y' }
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

) G4 M+ K- x. @# P9 M1 V• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

• Report to ISP Program Manager

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:0 q1 B4 b' T- [$ d- ~' D3 e3 h
• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
! l; H {: P2 l# Y• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
$ o# A- c9 M7 J+ t1 e4 m1 i• Good English writing and oral communication skills

• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
6 M2 P A- p8 |" W9 Q! K• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
! X4 ]" G# Y3 K) [• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism" V/ k2 }$ s2 g" D `8 D
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision- a$ n& ` Q- O6 X# u) A0 @: t5 e/ a C
