/ `% F9 ]# P- U3 w7 o) v0 Y* fPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

0 U- s2 n- z$ _3 r3 W• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
8 K' k# B0 c# d* {! Y• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
! I! Q+ k0 Z9 F8 `• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately9 `3 e6 i6 V; d! }" d
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter# B( T& ?/ Q/ |+ f
• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings
. U0 g- y2 Z/ v• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents5 O2 j+ W% K7 Y! J/ a7 K
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

4 ? J3 @! D$ _5 P6 C• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events9 a D1 m) Y9 S2 B( d
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean

• Perform general office duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:; z: p& g1 D8 s8 D
• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
5 K. O: {) B" Z0 w" g& e• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset* s4 I ]8 v( }" f
• Good English writing and oral communication skills( C/ j; b2 H% u2 e+ b) Y4 ?* c
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients+ G1 @ K2 h9 }3 n
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook1 _# t& G [. v% P
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

7 A# c+ S* N; g( F- }Qualifications:
$ H# {# _* L* b' g2 A* N; q1 C• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
, T3 j- Y2 w9 i$ r• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment1 D1 \# }& {) D0 p/ z
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism# K* R2 I4 X1 r+ A
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision$ _4 t+ y! C* Z
