6 r- X/ h. g5 c" c) _Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
# u, m; n" V, O" M* f% YMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
" ?% ?+ ]# e& P•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
0 b+ |6 W1 `" H; M. {% ?4 u% Zo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
& |; ~4 g' i8 i$ o. no        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
- y4 k) H2 [9 k  ?6 b) k•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
1 ^# N7 i; M# m2 I  ho        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
' e3 X0 ^% P) H# u$ o( Jo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
: w3 N8 Q8 e) d, Q; w9 P•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
6 t1 b" u5 m* f) Z) h) g•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
& ^: n6 T& M- ~•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
