Job Title: Product Technology Manager, Lab Equipment         Date: October 13, 2011

Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
$ ?6 ]  y; v" U% P) lMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
+ j$ h" G6 ^5 {0 `' T•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
+ i5 O2 \7 L, S) v. `o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
6 S0 c+ \7 T, Z3 W9 H$ ^+ G9 r/ W( m( Go        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
$ J8 L) Z6 R: c3 |/ u, U•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
7 Z9 A4 ]: n9 ^: z5 ro        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
$ ?* e6 }6 k1 J! t5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
/ Q' o5 h: t6 ^# {$ lList of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.

•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
