Scope and Purpose of Job6 G8 o& U7 M. p& r
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.4 G: J1 V$ S/ X4 c
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
$ P3 A0 a. d' j, T• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
2 ~& z( j& ?: t2 C9 P2 U• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
0 \% k2 T/ D) |6 Q• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
) p* J0 S# C& Y" T6 m& Y& t2 q0 So Test all new patch versions of software prior to release+ ?2 k8 b3 y: P+ g$ G
• Assist where needed in application questions.' U$ a/ S, s- {" d; G6 r. t; c
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
! B( {5 L% N! L* g+ }2 o# no New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
6 R( i2 Y+ m+ _6 `o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
7 T q) o* u5 e+ t( b0 j h• Track and report all warranty failures
$ ]$ ?' ^9 b1 G. k8 }: o' bo Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
( @+ h' G0 _* oo Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
, B6 M8 D, J! r1 C5 h• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

o Act as technical applications expert on development team.* V2 Y% V7 |- _
• Assist in Sales support & training.
' j2 q& z0 y9 l: P& N7 F• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity) 3 L$ x5 S% z5 `
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers

1 O% A4 V5 a0 \4 o8 C- G" h• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
