Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.8 A# T& B: O9 T4 Q+ X! G
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities. c1 y ~! ~, `' W f! `
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.* F7 D' |0 o4 M
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.. B5 r. M" n% O7 I- ~- t4 t8 k
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems

• Assist where needed in application questions.5 @3 C' w2 F6 w% e' j& @, s% L
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.% r/ ~2 |- M6 `% z' k/ }1 q% ~
o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures9 g! e$ |* w# l4 m
o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed+ t& u2 I4 I4 y ~) I/ a; R
• Track and report all warranty failures! Z N; q) }. Q# A
o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.% p5 j3 r5 o# R$ q8 C
o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
) m0 F5 ~& l3 B5 I9 {• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Assist in writing and new product specification

• Assist in Sales support & training.4 H% _8 V2 V$ O
• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
6 _0 m% K+ w2 ?+ l6 m3 zList of Skills/Qualifications
& v: L7 |: N8 Z) T. V• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes." o8 N" [) p C& ^: \+ q5 T6 A
• Background knowledge of dispensers and software ; X' l) J l, d" w' a0 }' b7 e/ Z2 z
