3 l7 h" R9 W9 d! u8 S) q6 V7 c8 c* eEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
. q; C9 s1 t  l# N* n  zMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
) n% I; b. t, u5 uo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
7 h: H! n! i3 N•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
4 c8 o( E$ W/ a8 U* }) m; n, G' O& L( Mo        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
- Q% T# s5 @7 R& jo        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
+ D2 W6 ]6 v, U& Wo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
4 p' L0 N* l7 ]! y3 M•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
' _3 g6 [# M+ U6 K9 L  oo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

1 G5 G( B! D$ w2 y' i0 N; Do        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
! r, F) Q/ a7 b6 ^5 po        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
( @# E! V; h/ p. ^: r4 \2 F* [•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
) t0 G. Q% {: q1 t! a+ XList of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
; w3 y) e9 Q, q; _•        Proficient in software use and writing.
/ N8 |- C; w( g4 ?& v  v, _, x•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
& Y$ ]/ ]0 d0 n5 I9 s2 H•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
