; g8 o9 h) w. g9 vEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
! ]+ h8 F# |3 L0 M" HMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
4 f, [" m2 D+ a$ l+ w2 ?o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
8 W! S2 `8 C' }; B( S•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
7 R( G5 L1 J8 L9 t3 t8 K•        Track and report all warranty failures
5 Q5 Y- v: r6 [3 C( l8 C8 K! {o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
7 H( D: C9 P8 @6 Jo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
  C( K* w, U6 T- ?3 ~•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
* X) B$ }; F* to        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
6 J/ ?) Y) ~: [/ }•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
3 N& P5 v  X' n7 `/ Io        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.
