Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.) t* c1 S, ?( D/ [2 a
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities3 R+ M0 c2 O: ~: w
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
: T) Z: F- I& e8 E- m: P5 Z• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
* I. d) q0 k8 D; e• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems9 F& E+ A% K: t/ i
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release

• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.$ o! Y; |5 P2 o
o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures

o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

% w# d$ m+ |8 Z4 R( L2 K, {• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.4 r, E7 E7 H* c' s& p9 H, t' V
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers {2 |- n) g Q- N: G6 D9 [
List of Skills/Qualifications 8 H5 C4 s# Q/ _8 h. [
• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.9 F* J0 a( q: h, M; Q9 V7 g8 X

• Proficient in software use and writing.
