% l: g* x; i4 G0 h1 iEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.) g( o! }4 n( k% t
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities) b( O+ q1 _6 `# l, ~6 @) \
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
3 O! [. j* x j3 |) G+ k# m5 g• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
4 l. y7 P- e& H& c• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems4 T8 m$ v' R( E* {
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
- R, h- y C: {! @' g( \• Assist where needed in application questions.$ w8 _& V- a$ k9 @
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed% i' o. |. A& U; B0 D# m
• Track and report all warranty failures' o) m8 K- F6 R: D, O
o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.$ K; Z- ^* l' z b
o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design./ C% r4 B% T! |9 S4 N7 [) c
• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.+ K# Y/ y7 O+ p/ @; x7 l4 C
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
) l" E$ Q5 Z) U4 w) k" ^o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.. ?$ M4 s$ m3 [( M
o Assist in writing and new product specification

o Act as technical applications expert on development team.1 e9 i& T7 Z; X4 N! v, _
• Assist in Sales support & training.
) m8 u2 v ^& H9 |* O• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
