Job Title: Product Technology Manager, Lab Equipment         Date: October 13, 2011

3 D# Z) q- G  f7 ~Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
9 ]: ]6 v) E2 IMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
/ }8 B6 q5 p2 n( F•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
, o! h9 _* b# j9 S' J! t* `1 S•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
" }& y+ D, f/ v5 E1 k•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
2 [$ p6 F' V8 y* O5 v+ Y% }) Xo        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
6 e; {' x- f+ `+ ?•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
+ Z) y4 x" G' u9 Vo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
0 ]7 v/ X5 L! f7 O•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
$ R# F: X" I* j/ i7 [o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
8 u* W& E1 K: U7 P  ?" do        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
6 d  M& E3 X' o$ Po        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
# L/ l0 ^6 p/ B6 g0 O# ]- X•        Assist in Sales support & training.
4 b/ {/ w. |5 C, g  Y•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
9 J9 z7 R0 k0 n4 O- a# _•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
3 S& U1 T( f& ^3 k•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
. K/ E; r8 K6 O& }$ x; s# `3 r•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
5 F6 v- d3 Y) a$ }* u•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
