' {' I# A" f5 u6 eScope and Purpose of Job
$ O  b: x5 ]' }+ m! h0 \Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
4 p, {. e  |+ f1 r. AMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
0 e( U! y/ q% m+ K•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
0 H- ]/ A4 ^6 K& S•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
$ [% O( x( n0 M) Do        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
2 T. S* e# v/ j2 e, ]# R* ko        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
' l3 Y  l! x, @1 S) i. O, k* |3 ?o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

" w4 S0 t! x4 {5 e. H) o- wo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
( W+ w) o: s  U" X1 s0 A$ x  m+ J; ]List of Skills/Qualifications       
* k# w9 R  |4 P- D•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
2 T5 ?9 H! c8 d7 a•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
% H1 y' [9 F8 v9 `8 d+ G7 u) q9 V•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
