Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
) ~$ H6 {& s! BMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
- }( l, _- a2 \) p" ^3 c  I% u3 Y•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
# V. o  O0 s! M+ H, P- C  E$ s0 U•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
$ P5 }: Q, w& ]o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
6 z- k0 g' H# _! e•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
/ m4 J# @0 l+ Eo        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
5 U. Q% X6 L/ ^3 W5 h" \6 g( A7 no        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
# ]0 l( W0 W( \$ B/ qo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
) J  i* c8 j# x•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
9 r) g+ o8 O* Z/ x: H8 Vo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
5 S7 [& }4 S9 S( Fo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
6 i; Y1 z/ ?' Ho        Assist in writing and new product specification
7 _* W. `- s3 @* v' E) ?0 B4 io        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
6 z; \! V" F# U# J9 To        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
; J( v% l6 I( V) T' J0 B•        Assist in Sales support & training.
1 j9 M' D* X% W# x" j+ X•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
+ E- n3 l3 \, h5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
7 H- V4 Q$ W# v- v/ q•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
- T7 _0 k: R4 W3 v$ w1 ]2 b0 F•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
