Job Title: Product Technology Manager, Lab Equipment         Date: October 13, 2011

4 N0 U4 C* D4 q  M) TEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
$ l- `0 F! I8 i, X( VMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
, u1 Y) V2 j) W" c, g•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
9 x5 B) [8 z; t( p$ m6 ~+ X•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
3 w$ X! o$ w9 v3 C2 fo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
$ F( Q  }3 `; k- Z$ x9 U* Eo        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

; u8 {$ ^, a* _+ c•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

o        Assist in writing and new product specification
5 E7 \7 D& u8 T' {o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
8 k. L" c* u' Y1 k! t5 To        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
$ M7 \4 I& i' d- J' }6 x" P$ T8 R, K•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
