' X, h- w# Q/ E" ZEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
* C* n9 G! }- u$ {" `* N( tMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Y8 h8 }5 C9 i& l) I9 q•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
4 r& [) }' L8 B( e0 y•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
# L+ o$ \( k% |, D+ ^o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
& x( o( d( ^" ^* L4 z•        Assist where needed in application questions.
; O; y0 ^: P( K/ U! F# m•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
7 R; }- O  m4 M' Yo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
& H; c" J3 C" O•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
$ s; }0 w  x, ^o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
: k  v1 v1 Y1 Uo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
% |% H0 c# ?8 u( p7 H$ D8 J% r3 @8 O( N1 zo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
! Q8 A! }/ L% \# N8 X. io        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
7 D# E! o1 e7 H8 z•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

2 F2 o( x! G7 p9 C7 W: d, K5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
& o* C& _; z) r+ k) }7 T•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
% [' k0 f$ W- s- e•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
. U: I! C3 Y4 R: a2 L3 _4 R) A( I•        Ability to travel worldwide.
) B& e) i& V  x! _( j. x•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
