Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.0 {4 x$ P1 B$ W: y
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1 ?+ I; |- @* H1 P• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.6 A: e, y4 U* T+ L* o/ d
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
/ M* D/ ?. F' i$ q' I. Q9 t9 ~0 K• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems5 | N- u& X+ [: f: `$ b L
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release6 l A/ J5 c7 L3 U$ ^7 P2 c
• Assist where needed in application questions.
# G. R3 i* ~3 a• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
' F4 D8 j% {+ ^( |• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.3 ~2 Q, I3 u; I& U
o Assist in writing and new product specification

o Act as technical applications expert on development team.

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
