3 ?6 _" h! l& B3 g. y  n* YEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
  e$ O9 e0 ]1 BMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  B, x7 F) ^( H% R•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
6 A. w7 J% a! w8 ?# `•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.+ K: V; |& r: P  V; H9 z1 M$ C
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
( @7 o4 y& N/ o% u1 Po        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release9 Y& Z; q6 D! `9 y& [! j* [; o4 s
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
9 A. S8 R/ Q# m* h•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
) Q* g) z8 t) x9 m  L0 io        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
- t- `3 G+ A; H' d) |1 Go        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
7 ?& ]& Z  d' p8 n8 _; U•        Track and report all warranty failures
. m/ q9 x9 r$ ko        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
' [: X1 G( [* Q0 s7 uo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports2 Z0 W+ d$ Z/ \
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.9 G; F2 o9 I/ D' m0 U
o        Assist in writing and new product specification" k. U# X$ o, Z5 ?4 W' U
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

•        Assist in Sales support & training.8 L' M/ F% R+ c
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
