Scope and Purpose of Job
4 [3 [9 |; c7 KEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.7 e. a: c4 n% Z0 y4 a* M7 C# Y* w
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
5 I$ `4 i( ?& ~* S: N# Q5 b3 I• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems b6 b: y4 j; F' i2 t
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release

• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.% g& C% d' W. N2 z2 B3 h; W9 Q
o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures

• Track and report all warranty failures0 i' f1 K9 {( ?1 y6 ]
o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier. @5 q5 u& D6 d- P/ t% K: \
o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.3 b, J4 A/ W E; K3 o! t
• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.( |- E7 x+ l- C# T; h6 T/ Q
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports+ T& c4 O. b$ j5 X
o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
