Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
6 [' S$ `5 S, W+ {- R•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.1 A) D/ f. {1 n3 j3 a* c
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems* w8 g7 q. X% f- x* x
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release! ?) w( X" Q0 g+ o' M) n
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
% d3 U3 d0 ~- N2 E. \- ~•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
- z5 m0 V0 ]/ S$ Fo        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures, O  S0 N: Y0 f# h  E. y
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed4 _$ A5 x! ]. g: n! x' Y
•        Track and report all warranty failures0 f8 M! r, q0 w. }% B
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
4 v5 p5 O% [8 G  ?' Ko        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
6 k4 z, F. r% B, ?- I9 Q0 p% p•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.8 w5 ^0 m4 f- z  D: t' l6 F, B
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports9 ?4 q! k! v  B5 N2 D9 C; ~
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

  ?$ R* K' Q- z% s3 oo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.6 C% M# D$ O4 E: M

•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.& M1 a% {( q# Y0 h3 N+ p
