Job Title: Product Technology Manager, Lab Equipment         Date: October 13, 2011

% V, E: F! }1 L$ EEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

" P5 F( c8 }' ^/ ^/ r, l5 A4 X•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
3 Z& Q; J" H% v# F" H2 {•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
' [! ^1 P- E9 N) M•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
# A/ V  X$ ^+ q% r$ L% u- c0 I•        Assist where needed in application questions.
, L1 p9 `+ N  H9 K•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
. h  h, ]2 e' W8 w" Ko        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
" \; Z' C( M# L7 yo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
$ p* y' o7 p7 C' y3 d; g4 m' u) i$ g9 Yo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
, X. @* x* d1 X6 p) V7 l•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
/ x9 r+ q. m: E, `, j# Lo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
1 C- P' b/ i+ oo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
5 {; J" ]8 q. Vo        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
1 x0 b) h9 X1 n  eo        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
+ U( \9 X6 [  \•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

& X2 j+ O  f  m  i. {# |; e' ?Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5 t) Y% K0 c# t5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
1 C7 X0 l6 N  E5 u, cList of Skills/Qualifications       
1 e- Z: @7 [1 Y6 N•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
6 b5 x. i- W! X- b2 X" V, Q•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
* q- f# j, n2 d+ X' {+ N•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
4 z/ l- d) ^# H$ v8 I- Y•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
