Scope and Purpose of Job6 W9 I: {! c  F6 S
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

$ B9 D6 A) U6 S; ]" R& d•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.) X; O$ r, M2 N- n3 x$ g
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.' W! I8 r: @/ ^% c( V
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
4 |$ V: b/ w; _0 Ro        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
, \- Z. g, e# T, H•        Assist where needed in application questions.
6 R# q" c: B" n9 r3 Y) b•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
1 y3 V* r2 T  j( t; {o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
+ b' L! Z' n- P" t! so        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.5 _( G& P% e( l1 {- t: |; ?
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.6 Q- n' \* Y& h$ y6 x/ B* g0 U
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.8 O  l$ @( s2 j  g. K& a
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports. ?2 I( C0 L+ t+ l. I# u
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
: s$ R, D  E) ~* ?o        Assist in writing and new product specification7 K; f7 S" o7 d, o
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.+ ^. j& L0 d6 z4 e0 Q
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
! o! u- T3 O! I0 J* A0 K) C* a•        Assist in Sales support & training., a, L( y, s# E) q+ h
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

: N* T& v5 G  X) S& oProfessional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)        8 l2 [2 Z( ?4 x- w5 @8 W: j
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
" Z. T- _, E8 t/ k) dList of Skills/Qualifications       
0 p. a) Z3 h; H1 M* |•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
* y( Z6 W  `" K1 Q# i•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
7 U* N) r: x7 _' n! A•        Proficient in software use and writing.
* Q# \+ l3 S& m: s+ o6 ~•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
