Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.9 K* ^6 @8 U' S- u4 q
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities, m& f# Z% j# L+ Y8 V( p
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.6 e y; M0 h& a& a* ?* r9 ~3 ^
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
9 t Y6 C( |& o* a" G* e4 Z/ c• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems. g G- x0 X6 f# F* o
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release

• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.& |- }9 X* y% ]
o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures

! m9 Q: K# X& b f$ p, B! K- b• Track and report all warranty failures

o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.9 @5 p0 e( u& n" T3 i4 l
• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

; G* j0 r3 z, X5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
) [- Z( A8 j0 J' H2 h. OList of Skills/Qualifications ) S! m- h7 w8 r4 d$ Q
• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
