Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.0 z1 k8 a+ e# u) ^
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities( v5 H2 k* k3 ], `1 e' b1 F
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.8 E% ^( s0 r5 j+ J$ N6 p
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.; h' N) c0 d$ c  A  k
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
- l1 _# ]( j6 j: Lo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release. G5 M' s- t7 O- x/ r
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
2 T! @5 R4 Z% Y1 M' ]•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
: z/ e  r+ _8 G7 D( P) |o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures! d% \/ ]% E5 t' t9 o! }9 V8 v- ?
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
( F6 m! _* ^- S•        Track and report all warranty failures
+ ~/ G" o; r7 u' ~7 B4 Do        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
0 W3 f4 q0 D9 ?5 H* ]0 K0 s& no        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
1 N7 [0 P  \" t% _) d•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.& X- [3 P& a; {& {) }
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
+ s( c- i; s6 |2 Y/ s# g! ho        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.5 P/ t( c3 [1 R$ u6 N- O0 _+ N$ L
o        Assist in writing and new product specification4 J7 S+ \" c, N) z
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions., D, ?) E' Q7 v
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.

•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

; a  r, C7 w1 e+ }$ o5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
2 D9 S" }* ]5 s8 I+ {" i$ nList of Skills/Qualifications        5 V5 u% R: ]3 q9 Y
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.2 X/ K/ V1 w) t  ~3 ?
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
* \$ ?( F9 u. X- h4 W•        Proficient in software use and writing.  t  Q: m# @# B/ q% z" p
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
