Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.4 E b# u8 ^; q# t" ^7 T$ v8 _- D
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities/ ~+ G5 |" {- l/ Z/ C- n4 |
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.5 [: P6 I3 @' d- J
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.+ p/ h6 S T8 Q# i% i! `
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
3 c, x L% e' V- M: j! Fo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release2 K P7 o# ?* h, x9 b
• Assist where needed in application questions.
8 C- m! S2 V; O2 P# x6 S• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.' l0 l; B9 P) o# t
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports6 d6 Z8 V4 Z" N* v! {
o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

o Act as technical applications expert on development team.

/ _+ [" P. y- ~& V• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers* j r/ O9 W- {3 d: ?
List of Skills/Qualifications
5 d% Y( r! k. _. I) x• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.+ l; e" B( v, w) Z6 B5 \
• Background knowledge of dispensers and software
