( k3 Y# A& E% ^/ H6 W# d' PEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.; Y# d2 w! Z$ Z' h
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities& ~. z" q% L( ~ S" \' t
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
# V; w; ?% D: G) U: {• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.. \0 P T' a: ~: Y- m$ z
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
5 I& b9 w7 d S! r$ s6 Mo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release/ y7 ]5 E5 W- X/ D5 Y& M* s- g& s

• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.4 b- {) ?3 Y/ d- H1 g

• Track and report all warranty failures T- D7 ]4 ]3 P
o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

• Assist in Sales support & training.
& Z# y) ~. g2 W% h• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
