Scope and Purpose of Job
: p2 s( Q2 v/ b' g" [& rEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment." \$ U" d) q* m6 H- S
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities7 p u% V5 J, j
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
" z' k( q! m* r N! h1 N• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.; }3 N1 ^1 M9 y. Z7 W4 `4 B6 H
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems0 j; v; ?0 m; O# Y+ t* e" E5 A7 \
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release8 I5 H3 @) A/ C0 Y4 h, j7 t
• Assist where needed in application questions.3 d8 n6 E6 h3 n A6 v
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

• Track and report all warranty failures

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Assist in writing and new product specification

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers; J1 w0 {& k3 D

• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.$ B5 I; E& ~) o* m4 X& [- V
• Background knowledge of dispensers and software

• Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
