Job Title: Product Technology Manager, Lab Equipment         Date: October 13, 2011

Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.: p, |9 P2 J- V1 I- W8 y+ {  G
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* v; z+ N) K& A/ G! x3 p•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
' l; q, Y, g' P' N/ F- j•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.$ R1 S0 h' ~' U. \% b
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
! @6 M8 M0 u  Q! fo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
; C& H% i3 v% C" F$ K•        Assist where needed in application questions.
3 E% R3 W, Z2 B' \& p9 S•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.; J' h' Z5 q" f+ b$ C4 F+ Z
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures+ o; `/ W/ Q1 Q2 K9 G( Q6 ^
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
3 r- J) ?% H0 S3 Q& C, S•        Track and report all warranty failures
: N- D8 Y* @6 t. e% m: m% |o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.5 Z3 L) ]4 j: Q! {, i: F1 G; i6 a+ S
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
7 l: {  \% a& L9 o•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
7 e/ c3 @8 |& Do        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports# z- C! b( h8 z; U5 S1 F
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
& n  Z4 k: t$ H4 }/ E, U' \- {o        Assist in writing and new product specification
' \) P+ @, ~/ Z; so        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.+ e; i$ Z3 ^; v0 C
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team., ^1 n* Z) T4 G7 j8 c
•        Assist in Sales support & training.

o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers

•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
