Scope and Purpose of Job+ [0 F0 T* X3 Z5 W
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

9 q4 b( `7 |+ K• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
3 o' B/ Y* r' e9 Z• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.: D8 m, i4 G6 ?+ l6 _6 |! J! x; O
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
( V$ r7 X r8 L' Q% Z6 D) C) v6 fo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release8 D5 M) P$ \0 P* V" e* I
• Assist where needed in application questions.' f# Z$ R0 e5 b7 ?/ u- o& e! u
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
- G2 z- }; m4 ro New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures! K9 L( f" J9 V. }
o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
5 [; ~! W# @; j. ]: l. x( a• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.( S8 I( W# d, h5 V
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

o Assist in writing and new product specification- [' y! D" k% g% C
o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

• Assist in Sales support & training.' @+ D- ?5 S, X* L" m0 ?! L
• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers6 Q, b, q; a& {" x! ^) J
List of Skills/Qualifications
6 e7 p; r z+ V5 ^9 j6 D k! u3 S• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.5 t9 |1 X8 m, h9 l8 c& Z w9 [
• Background knowledge of dispensers and software / e# D' J* b! B" x/ B

• Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
