Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
3 ^. R+ \8 W* B9 pMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
: O+ y) U8 r6 p•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
6 @3 J7 S8 Y: m( V•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
( r' ~0 X; P) n: v- H•        Track and report all warranty failures
4 `$ F3 m* K) i: f3 T4 u7 s7 Qo        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
3 P* Z" t' |* v( Yo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

* z+ u( }+ T$ [; |o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
6 v4 o0 F' ?+ s$ f•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

: a3 ?, j2 _- W8 ^: K! I5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
0 K9 {& @+ w# z•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
4 L8 }5 |2 ^4 [' n9 |•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
! S' x5 V1 T' h) j•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
