Scope and Purpose of Job3 [' @" j8 f7 N! z- I: k. Z
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
: i3 Y2 d9 y8 U# a( U• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.: Y# i: a! N: D+ @0 ^8 |- b
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
- K2 q- U( }0 d. C& J- E4 Bo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
M; K" F: @2 ?" K• Assist where needed in application questions.
& ~* t# F4 h& v4 Q• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

• Track and report all warranty failures7 ~) F/ |# q- K9 t* o
o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.: L3 c+ x' r- B/ E+ M
o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
5 x3 T- F, b# L/ C/ B. S• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.$ z2 D; K, N; P- [' s( f8 r
o Assist in writing and new product specification

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.! j2 j6 G5 K2 Q2 x
o In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)
3 I% L" g I0 S0 E5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers

• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.8 F" E' W, q- {) X3 k% j
• Background knowledge of dispensers and software

• Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
