Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.2 m: T/ i6 P7 E/ l
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1 u: H  z6 h+ J, X8 W•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
* y/ w. D, r+ g•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.) A6 v0 T8 S5 H% j
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems2 f1 r! ]- N0 X9 \& p( Y# |
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
3 C  L5 o5 n& L" ]- `& v* v•        Assist where needed in application questions.
# _; h! i2 Z3 w* h; ]2 p/ Y•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
6 R" Y* }3 m) V4 I3 H0 Yo        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures; P7 \/ g( f5 h2 H1 t/ G
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed7 _9 v* L* ]% _3 Q7 z
•        Track and report all warranty failures
; p  U9 ?0 j- r9 U. o3 B. K1 Bo        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
" h/ ~# y2 K8 N7 ^6 Jo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
- W* F  c3 g6 ~$ k- c. `% O•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
- u& u% D. S$ v7 ]1 y  l1 \9 u- Zo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
6 Z. P8 x8 m) d3 jo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.& u" F8 U9 I0 y& d: g
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.

•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers

•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.( {6 q" G* J7 Z. S, i
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
% c3 Z  Y( F8 L! r! i5 f•        Proficient in software use and writing.
. U7 E5 S; r3 D" L•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
