Scope and Purpose of Job
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
# g/ C1 t. p! z8 f•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
8 q* N. Q9 B0 S" k•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
, D; @, t% o$ R•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
; v) C# Y" s3 J% f0 ao        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

% X, |) ^; T5 Q2 No        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
- d) V* p- N/ z+ Po        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
0 `! `  Y: `: ?: d  j6 }5 r•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

  r: R4 y6 d8 Y6 v& v9 co        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
( K9 B& m* s  u$ `o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software

•        Ability to travel worldwide.
