Job Title: Product Technology Manager, Lab Equipment         Date: October 13, 2011

+ T  Y& @" ~7 Z% a$ VScope and Purpose of Job
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

0 q5 P/ s- S4 t+ f; A* E7 `% ]•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
) w: {  W' i8 I9 |# V% o/ c( G•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
. j* m4 m7 L1 R7 \- to        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
% Z$ ^# J" r9 j" h" f$ z1 lo        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
  d+ z' X) ?; ^/ s& Co        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
" E- V  Y) d* T+ Wo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

) P- n4 G+ I: BProfessional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
' {8 u/ R; y8 _8 I: v& t& S$ z/ ?# |5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
* e# M* g/ ^/ I•        Proficient in software use and writing.
' t; `; ~) Q- b# Y•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
" Y/ w: ^- d5 B, Q•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
