Scope and Purpose of Job
' u: h' t" N5 tEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
  L7 n; X( P* `, ~+ ], l•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
" f1 k' v, V( r! |0 @o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
5 |, @$ d; A  W" no        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
9 {$ W$ e: I4 C•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
0 X1 ]3 z0 ]2 Vo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
7 O/ y, V/ M0 l4 R1 F5 \5 J5 U. a! n•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
. G& |/ R6 j7 S1 _+ d' k, mo        Assist in writing and new product specification
- f. y1 O5 @) e9 F2 {8 ^+ uo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
$ O" Y1 V+ t- e7 F0 m- Vo        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
! X9 Y! `' ^+ J- a2 F) T. g& U, g•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
& _4 x3 ?3 M6 M' x2 eo        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
2 ^0 |# [# \# S1 f4 I2 r7 w! OList of Skills/Qualifications       
! H2 k9 r. k4 B7 P•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
