Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.# r. Y$ G) a- D6 h( K( |' w
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
3 C# U& ]) G8 q; a0 \1 u• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.+ K) ~% N; a8 [7 x% g) k+ [
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
. U5 p9 F1 Y2 i• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
8 `" g$ m# l0 z8 _$ Y1 D' Oo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release5 D/ P9 C* `: T0 y
• Assist where needed in application questions.$ }; C& l( B0 d Y
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

# P; ~6 @8 F( ~) l* G' B) |* ~• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Act as technical applications expert on development team.

• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
