Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
1 O9 x6 d( f  ~" fMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
$ E% O6 Y0 f1 L# q& r•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
4 R' ?" t. p6 o2 E/ D•        Assist where needed in application questions.
3 L2 e0 o2 u5 R2 n! G  j; [•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
* R! t) d6 n' b8 W# y! Go        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
$ w6 N' ]2 i5 N- eo        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
2 }. ^8 M3 R8 C1 m  T7 Wo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
. Q+ w5 ?0 ]9 m& N6 N•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

" U; |- f! g/ [/ Fo        Assist in writing and new product specification
  U4 b, i! Y/ {6 p) A; xo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
7 k0 R. a$ c, }•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
  ~; F$ `7 z! To        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

5 I; W) @; t# [, G+ P1 Y5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
- ?. M! D' f  Q3 x8 O5 H•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
8 r1 V2 U( R0 `' ]/ O' B) u•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
3 i- A+ O8 N8 O2 \- \' o•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
- ]: Y* ^) D0 X' u9 [8 T•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
