2 j9 m& W8 K# f2 G" `Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment. d& P/ q3 |' V# G& d
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities+ ^3 q8 h4 u; a$ B5 p
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
& u1 W n% Y4 B( t" I• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
. K9 A- G! u0 c% B• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems% K0 \/ x' v) [$ [
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
$ Z3 V, l L$ C1 S3 V+ l, {• Assist where needed in application questions.

o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures5 s$ ~) l! M8 X l

• Track and report all warranty failures

o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.

o Assist in writing and new product specification

o Act as technical applications expert on development team.

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.: [: z/ \$ E0 q5 P
o In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Educational / Professional Background Technical School Graduate

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers

• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.

• Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
