Scope and Purpose of Job
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
" O& M& n$ \% `8 K6 O0 b7 p& XMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
9 t3 e8 W* |/ K6 t•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
/ y3 z2 W2 O4 so        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
4 W8 J: V* g+ i9 a3 h, x+ }4 c•        Assist where needed in application questions.
5 n9 y8 a4 ~* g5 w7 M  _7 F' a•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
9 F' ^1 C! ]# C& ^o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
' I: l( g. m- a  T•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
$ O8 n# F- W) i5 A1 R•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
9 {. i9 k4 M9 Z" m5 i+ V6 x* s8 ?% bo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
: K4 a! [6 S' g$ n: a+ \•        Assist in Sales support & training.
- k; n0 l8 B$ B: O& n•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
  C' U! }! T+ Q) b•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
# f0 T9 e# z( S+ t( u•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
