Scope and Purpose of Job
- u, W6 c: J2 Y" j0 z- {; [+ pEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
! Z8 B0 y& L9 l$ P• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
- y% r' t! @0 L1 X• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems2 K' m7 V/ Q: V
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release# J8 }; Y2 h2 P3 _; I
• Assist where needed in application questions.$ D1 r5 f1 p5 ^. m! m
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.9 D+ ^5 X/ e+ ]+ i2 q; B
o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures

o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

9 \; V. i- H& F9 I a5 c• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
/ z" o0 L# j0 j; S3 S" _% uo Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
; g6 B& r& j6 x# Go Assist in information gather for any new product idea.* Y% n2 T3 {& r: f+ d! J* j
o Assist in writing and new product specification
* t! V/ c& a) I# R6 ^1 ?0 n$ fo Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.8 Q6 p6 P) ]1 y& F6 t! P
o Act as technical applications expert on development team.

List of Skills/Qualifications
2 H6 k$ J" H; g- Z: ?$ [• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
