Scope and Purpose of Job
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

! X% X9 ~9 t1 A  @$ V! {8 q- r•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
" y/ E- Y- n2 e: O# k- Z) Y1 U" |; s+ w•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release

& f8 E- i% [( w; qo        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
) v: W0 r1 K0 I6 V4 s6 P  x) Lo        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
& N% C6 q; U) b" {' n, s, [0 }o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
! K! Z( A+ `; i7 ^# B' p•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.

( r+ F# W# ?$ T•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

8 }0 E* M4 n/ uEducational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
, G7 X8 o$ x, G2 ^, s  t. x' Q•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
0 d6 O1 U8 N1 X  j0 X$ x* @•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
