Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
  j: b8 J6 m0 T" D- `Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
& c+ _6 J$ t5 t7 C- ^2 a( i•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
0 k0 A+ v# @5 ?6 y•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
: c) R% Y/ P6 _- A•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
8 S4 v+ Y' F# do        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
  n9 d: x" i" F5 m* Y" r3 C•        Track and report all warranty failures

% n$ Y- y" n% S) ?1 J1 Y- e•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
& k6 ^7 R: t4 W7 wo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
% W9 S+ x; t! b- ~- g9 s# no        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
: q9 S5 s: b! C6 _' Z. _o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
6 g( e- [% W1 a2 ^( g; h•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
8 a7 O" |& a+ \o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
( v5 N! x& {7 |2 ^$ G9 [6 v5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
, L8 ^' ~  V" O•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
% `7 R/ @& T  X5 m•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
