Scope and Purpose of Job
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

* d' R1 G- R3 _7 ^# j3 O9 N9 t•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
/ v8 _; T" U: E9 |" e  `, @, O1 x; O•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
. M5 z" ~5 d! h: w$ }, j•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
+ r0 o3 i: k) e3 m6 X' d1 G( Uo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
; M. U2 e, x7 A/ V7 Uo        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
8 Z# n" ^$ E* Jo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
7 [; j: r. i: w8 r: ^# G! t, oo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
( O: F1 \) V# w  N2 s, R& ~o        Assist in writing and new product specification
5 r/ ^* ?) {! O2 O$ _o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
0 `6 W. ^5 @& fo        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
$ T% I3 C# N9 j# G* r" y- G•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
- U* ]: \- M+ _* X" |- ^8 k# h# f- B5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
9 a9 M( g. d2 qList of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
2 t. ?9 s% ~: |0 p' R! r% ^7 b8 x•        Proficient in software use and writing.
# ?6 b& U: y, j: Q•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
5 M4 Y  d9 ^& j" o5 _( c•        Ability to travel worldwide.
