Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.$ L4 l' u- W! r. F
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities* q* X, ?! m3 I
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
+ ~, n# d; I: o) @% [7 R# Q• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.+ z/ y+ I) k1 @4 J, N
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
$ ]( d+ z9 G4 N( O9 p/ \* _# Z/ r3 fo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release: i) ~) r: Y+ _2 d/ k0 S
• Assist where needed in application questions.0 H& g; J7 H5 O, |3 g) i
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.1 `: P9 s& w. z9 M! {% T$ _
o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures" a. k7 L u( f
o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

d) z% B/ M. a: k$ jo Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
2 a. J/ Z# R1 h; U# Z, Y. g* U• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
# K- F+ x# Y) G+ D$ `o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

o Assist in writing and new product specification( F# C* \9 \, c# j1 h0 Q

o Act as technical applications expert on development team./ h/ g4 m3 ~* K6 h o6 g, r
• Assist in Sales support & training.
& N' Z6 R4 u. e• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools./ n1 S; ~+ x' a& O, ]
o In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.# i" s9 l4 A: Y! l* J
