Scope and Purpose of Job
4 U3 v3 E+ D, t4 C1 G. }, @Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
3 f8 }/ k; X/ SMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
# a* Z! e& S4 E•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
2 j. n* `, f' i3 {•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
; B& x9 z7 Z6 r' _. i! `, I: t% @1 Bo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

  Y5 z5 T6 C  yo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
. i; j1 f( T( T6 m+ y/ z•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
( h' t: O. b1 g+ W( Io        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
$ {! |' Z: ~2 G- t•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

: C/ S3 e% E4 q; lo        Act as technical applications expert on development team.

•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
; _* u/ O8 |2 o3 Yo        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
' }3 a  ?7 v5 V+ s% F5 [2 w5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.

3 u0 m: U$ _7 d•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
