Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.1 U/ k8 j4 n1 S9 {
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities) Q1 l1 Y; b7 w6 F
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.! r6 s% `6 ~& p. }1 j) r3 v0 }
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.; P5 M$ Y5 n; h% |
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems* ?+ i& r8 t6 w+ T: J7 I
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
' f: v, q& ~. ?# y• Assist where needed in application questions.5 ^0 n! B, f) X! x
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.: }7 I) {6 N y4 k* D6 k3 [* c G) W
o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures; i# ^: ~; Z! ^1 |2 X' F
o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
+ \ F% _, p W4 Q: n6 Z" To Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports d$ W" r, i$ F7 q u
o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
& @6 }5 @& Z1 b7 D) d. Lo Assist in writing and new product specification n# \+ v2 ? o8 c6 a a- Y
o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

• Assist in Sales support & training.
