Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
" Z, I$ ?, a) z3 I/ BMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1 ^! X' V3 Y6 b2 ~•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
% e' i! n3 o, j& U) C% |3 F•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
0 b4 y( ?) j# G! \•        Assist where needed in application questions.
; z3 O/ l  ]* ]8 N  C: e5 ?- l6 e•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
6 E5 T" N) W2 P& j) `o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
4 e4 K' D, n) c+ T•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
; K  U6 p- ~$ }0 B9 |•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

$ e! J3 d/ o/ W' d( g; to        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
; W2 k5 _6 B/ j2 ^  x9 c) T•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
4 |5 |8 a- r- x8 @4 AList of Skills/Qualifications       
2 {  B: ?  M' |5 P) t•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
' I6 ~$ O# W9 R: X3 T; f•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
3 t& W: b! @) [+ n: ]•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.

•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
