1 \9 ~* E+ R( E+ X+ v! v4 nEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
: K+ I2 X/ o) N: `•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
1 C& y7 J; J! K1 I•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems, t# z- F: c3 x) x% e
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
/ q* J; F' x9 \" a6 |2 i•        Assist where needed in application questions.: U5 g' O( W& K. n& x  t* K: A
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.. i' Z: B) o4 e& v% J: i8 G
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
3 ~. _, F  g  ]6 r6 {) io        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed6 S1 ?6 V& Z) Q* }
•        Track and report all warranty failures4 r+ H8 B/ w8 e: G9 }6 W4 N
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
3 n" ~( D4 o. [7 k  ao        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
: q' E& A% \& S( t7 O•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
* B& P0 ^9 E" S1 O9 Yo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports+ A0 H1 @4 Y0 `
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.' i6 P1 v+ a9 b
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
/ |/ ^: @& s  u, q& K& po        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
0 j4 g1 W/ U4 B& n1 jo        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
4 Z" m8 Y1 w/ O•        Assist in Sales support & training.; D4 a! x4 b& V
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

4 f5 G7 f4 U" Z- y/ g( C•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.3 G/ ]2 w7 I* k0 K+ g1 F* D
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software " H6 r- q" o  R- G" u  V4 c, M$ x
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
