8 y5 g) g3 _$ O7 DEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.: w" C: }$ a! f" u4 q# E' ?
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities) V: R$ L N1 @/ Y
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
0 O2 `( q& M* ?• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations. g- l& B, \' a$ n6 H; q+ A
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems4 `+ T; n' V* c; Q2 l- d$ ]; b. U
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release- c6 w2 F6 C, n1 B5 P
• Assist where needed in application questions.9 t6 s, `( m, H/ q
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.# p) M; f) {$ c# y7 }4 I2 J; |
o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
% k3 l8 M5 B* d' Lo Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed8 d- R" G) X9 c8 I+ l; A! @
• Track and report all warranty failures

( I6 r2 m! x2 bo Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
( W' g2 g. b3 G$ F8 j• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development., E& l3 j0 I0 u" m
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

o Act as technical applications expert on development team.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers

• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.

• Proficient in software use and writing.
