$ u/ y+ P# ]8 x, UEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.  n. R9 s& w8 L: [
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
, w- i6 A; c7 B0 p5 u: v•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
4 `( e1 g9 v# y5 _- c, z: c- {•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.- M, G' L! B; d, Y7 @
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems) c+ F$ U0 @, o5 u0 H; q
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
3 |  c/ J( u! U% S•        Assist where needed in application questions.
9 x2 S( l0 V7 g* w8 m! A1 @•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.- R" }' a! J- [" a: Y6 x. }% X
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures' v% ^. q$ x0 @7 Z8 j
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed; W- @" h5 ?# y  h4 m; Y5 k2 F0 T
•        Track and report all warranty failures( F% v/ b7 }) \; m6 m, K2 A0 g
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier., b8 ^1 x- w  Y
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
$ R; O+ o. b* o6 L& {9 X' P# ?! `•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.* [* J4 p) [/ b6 g' U7 T
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
! n) A& t' ]5 T; K' e6 s- Yo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
9 H8 g) O$ C% Y' r, ?; Yo        Assist in writing and new product specification
2 Z4 P3 l) Q" mo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
* V" Y! }1 P0 w' Do        Act as technical applications expert on development team.5 _/ V% j! }' U8 U- T
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
) j) @6 u& A$ s7 k- Z: S•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
& Y; V( ]0 `+ l6 {7 EProfessional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)        9 o8 l1 ?8 n; w; `% H# c
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
( m) m5 p* Z7 T/ `4 P$ xList of Skills/Qualifications       
+ @4 R- R8 u( f& H•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.6 P! h. V- q! ?9 s3 p! l+ H
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
, ]% P; s! j. d1 g9 K" H$ Q9 B•        Proficient in software use and writing.% v- P. l$ ], X+ P7 z. P% m  F  _
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports." z, X7 ^! T4 _' M% h
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
