Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.6 R6 [9 q4 u0 \) |
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities; d# v+ T; q* L4 P& t
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
6 C$ q: B6 i* }* c8 z3 X•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations./ O" \: m* y# d* W. x
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems  b# ?6 R# [, v1 ^
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release( H8 b* ]7 A3 A. g
•        Assist where needed in application questions.4 H0 f6 `' E8 j  {
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
" I7 M3 {3 P1 e& i5 V8 y9 a( so        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures$ A7 h4 U2 P, M
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
% g3 f. N# I6 h& y. v+ [: }3 ?8 d$ u•        Track and report all warranty failures
: q0 R8 I* w7 A5 T$ {o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.9 h5 [, o$ e; I) s+ b
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
- X* ~+ m7 t+ ^9 f5 v•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
. I% v0 C  h+ K- l5 Ho        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
; e* L! @) a7 T: d2 G/ Wo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.; q# j3 {* u* Z7 a5 ]0 w  v( `
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
, ]' s- @  h" ^$ ~o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.1 p, c: h" \% y* U2 `. z2 D
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.

•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.$ U: u! P% d9 J8 E( t- j# Y. ^5 P4 N; f& V

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers

•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
