Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.* E0 B8 C9 C) |2 S9 P! m( F, V
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
2 Z/ r* Q8 T: }8 G; x•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues., v1 W2 ]+ q" Z7 R3 X# b
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
: b+ |0 ]9 N$ ^. M( Y•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
% c1 P# ?; d+ l% B$ G4 _o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release$ j  F* `+ _' R6 \# |: q/ S
•        Assist where needed in application questions.7 B- R5 T* z. n4 r; D. X: H
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.2 f: B# b# f4 N9 ]5 M
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures6 f4 Q* D& s" _" O
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
" [& \9 `- L3 o" c•        Track and report all warranty failures
; ^1 x, A: s7 H3 M9 Y/ V- F! po        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
7 U, G: n0 c. h' t; Uo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
: `, q7 w' H  M) W•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.* e' m4 \5 s3 B
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports- p5 Q8 j- I: ?
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea., |1 d! q5 E) z" M
o        Assist in writing and new product specification  v  @3 C0 w/ {& v' X7 z
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.7 k! k- ~1 Q1 P8 k' ?$ ]8 N
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.9 ?* a0 h' U: F
•        Assist in Sales support & training.' {5 L2 R9 Z9 Z* Q
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers

3 w% m/ q, }: L; [  n1 ]•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.% N: U) R9 n0 d
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software : k! X6 }; h. O6 q) f3 Q' D5 F7 X
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
