Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.' w" x; X! ]0 Z4 f& M
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
: K: T- F! k+ u/ c. \* _• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.2 U+ c, z; M# U* L
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.% q6 O F# e) ?) @, e& ?# ~7 x7 t
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
+ }" |, c. _ g/ I# H: xo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release+ N# @3 w8 ~, h# A1 k
• Assist where needed in application questions.
' Y0 ~. K4 B4 `) W' [; g* x• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Assist in information gather for any new product idea./ R& l/ d7 |- p1 F! u6 t! }
o Assist in writing and new product specification! H+ _ b& d, s/ a
o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
