Scope and Purpose of Job
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
& a% @' |3 a8 l. f2 ?: cMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
8 C8 n0 M8 b, D5 C•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
) y& z6 n9 q& H" O0 v•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

' r0 a2 W* M) w•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
: G. A* I& s' w  ]o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
- ?) _2 o+ e) U. v# v- I•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
) m  o( M! m& B5 h: J- s7 E•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
2 X3 v. l3 R3 W$ R; K6 o5 a•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
