Scope and Purpose of Job
) s% U4 y( a+ k$ D3 ^  [Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
2 j1 A% X: X" b, K. E1 g6 |( `$ U1 L•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
9 }! Z; L9 u& a& S+ s" b7 g! e•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
& M9 ^: G! o- y, g$ ]+ j3 a' oo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
0 P) G' _! C2 _: N•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
+ A. |6 ]6 W! Jo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
" e  O7 a0 W4 X! y9 co        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
! X1 h" D6 N$ z% i: z: n. y•        Assist in Sales support & training.
9 O1 \7 h8 V  t: P# r+ Y& ~•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
9 M& j! B- D, z( \7 L/ q) do        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
( G: Z9 }* E% _2 D% VProfessional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
7 }$ x# a- K4 Z" j5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
. Y, |. ?+ L; i+ M. U3 R8 _0 UList of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
% k) i  [7 y+ J' B+ H•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
! g. M: T9 Y6 C' c& t. l•        Ability to travel worldwide.
) M. e8 m- F: o/ s; N, V! a  t! [- R•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
