Scope and Purpose of Job
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

# z4 a- w' g9 U% F0 p! u•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
7 b' {: N$ V8 B9 f: g* c8 r•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
. \" W; _; M8 i4 C; ]. qo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
0 s( q1 S# ~1 y•        Assist where needed in application questions.
* Y+ L: @( l+ ~* v3 j•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
" I1 W2 ^1 u+ ^6 zo        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures

•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

o        Assist in writing and new product specification
9 Y/ r) a8 l: u: i5 ao        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

5 L6 r# o6 B; M•        Assist in Sales support & training.
' m7 [' `$ p, e( t7 M9 L: M•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

3 k9 z- F0 E# v1 nProfessional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
3 L& [7 Y, q0 z- w5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
9 U0 i; D2 j: b9 N' {: _9 V, d•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
