Scope and Purpose of Job+ z2 |9 r9 ~7 h* T& ?, Z
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
; _& J! Z0 w5 v  o8 R  s# L•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
/ s6 ?, T4 v9 I# F% G* _•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems# U: c2 S9 Y3 ?6 ~
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
# k$ n4 l# z. O•        Assist where needed in application questions.
* |. R- w! P, q3 w8 V•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.4 d( U: v8 W2 U  w
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
6 ]8 m0 {1 t2 _8 Xo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.! z( J  x3 ^9 j5 C9 y+ n7 f; b
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.& w# B, K# v% s) I' u
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.0 @9 K$ D$ x+ @9 b9 c
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

o        Assist in writing and new product specification
! z: S: O( l5 J# L" B8 F  Lo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

•        Assist in Sales support & training.+ @! O' \3 ]  [
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.* I/ ~" e0 I" d1 Q8 O
