; |7 y6 u$ x! q; rEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
. U) U/ \, G2 J$ OMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities4 \; F2 c. y7 u0 s
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
6 E! {) n8 X; y" Q. M/ G/ c•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
: l' B$ G# a, b/ l% ~* ~0 ?•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems7 K6 m& Q. p. w* ?" p- S0 t
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release4 k+ g: y2 k% t6 H$ U1 H) F* Z6 \
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
' U9 C" ^9 h3 P) Z: T6 y•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
: O7 s7 j& H  m0 Q6 Yo        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures/ O' \$ ?5 T" I# c8 {
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
* M2 J8 `7 `$ p# x& ]! a8 V; ^•        Track and report all warranty failures
, R% ]6 x3 y, q0 ?o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
: R( {0 z2 B* q7 x" J0 V' g+ oo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
3 n! z+ T3 H6 D- e, E2 A2 I•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
6 e1 ~* {  v9 u( D, Po        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
7 J7 s0 k+ p1 q4 J) [) fo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.3 Z" {; e8 G. w# F; `
o        Assist in writing and new product specification5 I9 @" R% W: c: E. A
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions., B+ ~( N  f+ ^
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.3 n9 t2 o0 x0 S/ H
•        Assist in Sales support & training.& Z  Q' p6 p. N/ n6 f
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.$ ?; k5 y2 ~" G* d+ ^- W

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
( ^7 w3 f2 i' J% L5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
' l' v" s; ~- r7 T& [List of Skills/Qualifications        9 e  \, a: G5 P2 E
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.0 F; J8 T% Z8 _* ~
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software * r0 O( C' ^. i3 }% E) e2 l$ [
•        Proficient in software use and writing.1 |/ E' ~4 a, a' ~
