Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
; n4 ?  _/ q7 h, F$ ~! Z* UMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
7 A; }( Z8 |( X& n! X/ `' x/ v•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
" d: E) F. y6 ^8 A4 O% [•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.; Q7 A0 h4 a' d- _4 Z% c
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems; P2 \* _4 r* ?$ \. f/ h
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
3 M& C  }2 D  [6 J•        Assist where needed in application questions.
  W/ G* g5 D& [1 p•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
  u* _6 X4 M& Lo        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
* o) `& I- v! K# r: Z7 ho        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
; `& [  `0 q, f2 S•        Track and report all warranty failures
% E: e% ?7 s; Y0 _) m" g' k" Mo        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
, e& Z: T* a  e  d+ k' o/ Io        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports2 j, Q  G' P" Y) `
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.5 Z0 a$ l8 f5 e5 D' [) Z4 Q& R
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
& V0 @: O8 n* {, R4 u' M  Vo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

•        Assist in Sales support & training.  A  t3 y/ {2 n% u
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.* d/ b" v! e/ O
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.5 t3 ^. U" d* m/ U0 `

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers

•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.% x* _. d) O$ L, L" J" Y$ X( `
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
