Scope and Purpose of Job

J3 ~" vEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.$ b6 \8 t6 Y; c
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.: n& I* t) F7 q' F' P3 I
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
* h% g6 U" J5 U0 x( vo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
% t; _: |2 g4 b8 J* |6 D• Assist where needed in application questions.& ~. `) S2 Y/ }( Q7 ^% w3 W3 _
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution." e5 L5 {% P$ b f
o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
) d9 t* H/ X; e3 ~. j& go Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier., p1 m7 q, U0 A, p0 L. m
o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
% n/ T, f4 K/ j• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Assist in information gather for any new product idea." p3 n" C, D) P ^

o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.$ _5 G; [) T& F8 z+ |! `4 f" k
o Act as technical applications expert on development team.

List of Skills/Qualifications
- I" F- N" s3 w1 Z• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.+ M0 i; i. s1 P
• Background knowledge of dispensers and software
