Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.4 \% L) R6 q n* B7 D
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
) g( ]# L% Z e/ x• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.; h# B7 |" R4 d+ {
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
: [ y+ i. _% ?8 d• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
8 T& g6 H8 o. |% i: o) M# q# d3 Fo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
5 D% _# n9 {! t9 V0 a• Assist where needed in application questions.
2 h4 v) G O- V. S• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

• Track and report all warranty failures

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development." ^( _( S% C8 o( Z3 i
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports2 U- B! A S( l: P
o Assist in information gather for any new product idea." r( S: @6 @, j- S t
o Assist in writing and new product specification

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.8 l% K* V" i& s

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers2 [) \; S3 y1 z( p
List of Skills/Qualifications
3 L5 r# V" z! J4 y* W2 A• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.

• Proficient in software use and writing.
