Scope and Purpose of Job
& ?% h1 y( ^1 S0 N: a) p1 M6 KEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.0 C. {% L7 P5 u3 B
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities* c! ?( a$ s8 M9 A
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
. l2 ^6 r5 F& a5 t* d: k5 l• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
; z3 U3 h. y* o! R, N• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems

• Assist where needed in application questions.+ C6 N1 D/ K5 M( z6 v- H
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
( ^7 K5 g+ h) r- U" do Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports- }6 ?, W ]1 w- [0 R' h7 j
o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.* ?; d' \& f) @4 ]
o Assist in writing and new product specification
* {% t) k) w! z) X+ P6 co Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.8 B# U1 o* U c! ]
o Act as technical applications expert on development team.

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

Educational / Professional Background Technical School Graduate
) ~7 Y$ M4 I g% |: S ]! D2 vProfessional Experience (Years and Field of Activity) : F' q# ~1 j r" r/ f: k, P' N+ F& V
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers: _$ X+ H) W! O( B' P7 ~6 y& s
List of Skills/Qualifications ( ]' G7 R) o6 g1 d- k6 ?4 y- H
• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
& _% |4 }" W, K- f8 i: ] n% w• Background knowledge of dispensers and software
. C7 K" T) [2 \7 {• Proficient in software use and writing. N9 [6 ?9 L7 v
