Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
* _8 p1 W2 d) v& o5 XMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
! K' O, v! r& L. M8 B' V" `& G# i0 @•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
2 I/ \0 o% t& e) v•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
& B3 F4 S( y, n, t; ]( G) m3 Do        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
  T# t( \# Q+ a•        Assist where needed in application questions.
9 r, {$ c8 W  N0 a( o1 Q1 g4 m* E  T•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
. {2 A+ _+ S2 Y+ i: c2 io        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
' W, r8 G0 @: _; G  q5 L; S3 s7 So        Assist in writing and new product specification
1 R9 b$ T- i0 |" ~" \o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
! ^5 k7 n( m7 S& to        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
. M+ C" N9 E2 @1 d•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

# o  a2 V# V: i9 f3 m4 t" A+ s) @! `5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
5 H7 j7 x0 j. f& FList of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
& S- Q. s- ]9 r7 k# Z& \•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
9 a; a  j9 j# ~2 q) B6 F; d  O•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
