7 s& d* f+ `: c  s9 m8 F0 A6 tEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
$ v" u: D7 H) V- O, Q& Y" {Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
2 [0 Y) @5 k) w# D: o) A•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
3 J# M- O% J! T/ g" x•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
( w2 L. K" @+ y0 qo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
/ r6 ^& I. ?4 I7 J•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
+ s' H6 i' o; v$ E. t: e2 q* R•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
( n9 x; ]# c! mo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
! x) T$ e) w' A: q. z; u7 \; mo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
4 I/ b* q* j& K: E9 Uo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
3 n* N  y7 h% q5 Z1 F* c# Po        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
# l5 [: o/ j6 {: G6 U7 t•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

" R: V/ C; M  A8 N. Y5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
6 w& z  ~3 r  C: T3 _( P; H8 }2 kList of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
4 A# \1 R7 \: \; P) R# u( I2 o0 |2 W•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
  t: z8 `# ]$ q: E•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
