Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
& R; _7 M1 A' X9 Z( q+ s' |" lMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
5 q4 J; a- z$ [3 _2 F' g•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
# s9 ?# Q9 ~. ~9 N•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
& c" B7 y+ R2 `+ {9 po        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
2 S$ ?  F6 |5 h" _9 E8 Y•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
, e2 C% t2 Y/ R+ X% C$ i6 [o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
' u: \6 \3 l8 F# m( h# n7 fo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

/ p# {% ^# A+ x& j; o% s) ?o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
+ r3 y5 v2 t% A# b/ V3 g8 zo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
0 K; c9 T$ N9 _  h* l8 M! P% F9 R# {o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
' _6 v5 Y/ v/ D% d4 a( K3 y2 KProfessional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
. {5 i7 N# X! k9 T7 |( RList of Skills/Qualifications       
& u3 \! }, O$ |( |•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
% J' T8 p  w+ c/ O7 w9 U( ^" d•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
8 v% ]8 E% i, W2 g' }" w1 K5 I•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
