Job Title: Product Technology Manager, Lab Equipment         Date: October 13, 2011

Scope and Purpose of Job
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

1 I. r. D+ M3 c' G4 `•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
; G$ z2 M- V( q3 E' k. Z•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
; z+ q1 E1 ~+ {1 h# Do        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
# t$ M) n! `/ Ro        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
- A( G# Q2 v% W7 p& l( o9 f•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
6 W8 _8 M" v) co        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
1 f& n! H; _% t8 j) h# fo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
9 X7 {) K6 V, }•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
# o/ M( q9 ^2 h3 I' z; c* L8 a8 _List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
