% b; \( L$ y" u5 Z$ g3 ^Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
$ u. J& K: x1 ~Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
+ v- Z$ D' p7 a( M( t$ `! F: g•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
! J! P6 k6 Y8 ]' s$ S: T! T" G5 D•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
: n' l, R3 h, I; I7 }4 Q•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
. ?' e- O6 `0 J! J5 |# v  k' Zo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
7 v% s4 y& Z1 G& ^% D8 v( _- mo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
+ j' S# U+ X: U$ X0 J( d0 Qo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
! W- V1 g2 U, z% A) Ko        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
- N, I9 q; d! H6 b) S* \( Q•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
: b% q  m4 a& P$ To        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

List of Skills/Qualifications       
% r, C3 z$ q! ~•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
