Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
( J% P$ e* D8 T" F: D* D2 uMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
/ P+ J) D) W6 n0 q5 r/ J1 I•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
! B" e1 c) f5 L; Ao        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
) S- a- g& c  |1 |, o•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
7 Z; Y, D& @+ J9 v, Ro        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
# e" E+ o' t0 G; }/ g4 Wo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
$ P! L& p5 u+ Y+ P& {•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
& p" r# X# v: H2 Go        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
0 G( l) R; e$ r% k7 bo        Assist in writing and new product specification
0 d- w8 T$ @$ D' Wo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
9 Q( j, W7 O8 w& T# r•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
/ }4 `( V' [3 u9 G: @( T  Yo        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
; ?2 ]0 i; t! v( {4 H3 H5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
, }% l* [; H) [( r( s! n: s0 P•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
& F6 t# \  L( ~  x8 P+ n•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
