Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.9 U2 w$ f7 y* K+ x$ b5 g7 h, b
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities' }2 ]& N8 A }8 C- @& _
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
) t# `, E! X4 ?2 \ B1 _2 q• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.7 ?$ J2 ]! v; L, B C& ?- f
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems; \- m* g. y" L
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release2 Q) c' A7 G7 _. h# w( e# ^
• Assist where needed in application questions./ r& E5 ]* i! W; A) e( G8 X
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed6 ~3 E, B4 s- d, u9 M, j, ]7 ^

o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
+ p1 D& {+ N- x7 x9 u% Wo Assist in writing and new product specification

o Act as technical applications expert on development team.
