Scope and Purpose of Job
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
: D4 a8 E; h4 o& \: v% X6 @7 K•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
+ b( [! }6 u, v  B: B- L( Z# e+ yo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
: |$ n9 {/ n: }* m•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
3 V/ Q. ?. @4 Q! Q" V4 k$ Oo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
1 p3 B1 T: u* S" ~  O•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
7 E, Y, E' A* q7 Co        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
. d  d$ \+ G  e2 \o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
9 Q$ L4 n3 X2 C# C! h$ o•        Assist in Sales support & training.
" L/ ?/ K5 X: \•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
# C2 p1 p+ w- r; }4 qo        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
$ J! C6 \3 ?  a6 G( [* B; ~/ ?5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
4 e! e( K' c6 [- o  p/ ?7 R•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
/ ?* K, V. f( l# i6 `•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
