Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.- \2 ~/ Z1 x2 _- g
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities! H2 K! N. K G$ c' C& k6 V
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
9 ]- D7 P% p1 O• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.) W$ M- i4 b4 d. V
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems+ X2 T# k2 {( P: d) {
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
# f0 J2 y$ S9 O9 V0 D1 W1 L R+ I• Assist where needed in application questions. f! T3 \7 N4 K- C8 n! Z
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
( m2 l( d( y3 o& po New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
1 S& z. ~0 w) F2 s3 Z% ro Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.* u0 B+ s7 i2 ~/ s
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports f: n3 P6 z5 V9 g
o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
) y% Q6 y# l% Y5 do Assist in writing and new product specification" l4 X% b0 @" }3 z% B; S& F
o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.8 V0 Z8 }9 _1 C, k
o Act as technical applications expert on development team.
