Scope and Purpose of Job
9 m( j" z2 z% X/ m( BEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.# G7 j7 T6 _' v* n+ ?' t* `0 v
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
, Q0 \0 \) A- O- E- g• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
" @& N. F8 e" L4 {• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.: G8 B: N% r: f: }) j' z2 v2 ?
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
% I, u0 f! f+ V$ \0 |( yo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release) J4 e2 e2 U% {) |. Y# q& ?3 M
• Assist where needed in application questions." x) s" V+ k8 R' ]6 u' f
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.; G1 ?2 [ M' `
o Assist in writing and new product specification

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
