Scope and Purpose of Job; K- L4 j6 o6 c% z+ H1 l
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
" g- _4 K. @' W5 }7 `) k6 x6 l i• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations. J' W* a0 c7 y1 c5 u3 u
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
( o4 N# l- ]! a8 y! Xo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release4 Q8 j+ K& i; p, m
• Assist where needed in application questions.2 t: R2 w- p# x. J7 |( n4 g
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed5 J7 z% Y% O3 J& D
• Track and report all warranty failures5 K$ g" ]7 n h, \
o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.2 o& e3 T5 A5 J" C, H

o Act as technical applications expert on development team.

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.9 N2 c2 K4 g$ k Q
o In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.
