Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
$ T  u6 x. Q1 k+ e5 k+ W) mMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
% M, G/ A7 J4 f0 X+ `( e& @# x•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
3 B: p9 h1 N# u# e/ q; _o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
5 Y6 b! m! p/ Y/ t4 q•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
  D" m8 J; L2 `  `2 X* ~o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
9 [3 t$ c- J- H( Q: Q•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

, w: F7 B2 O! w' a. s, eo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

: m- S; o6 k& G3 ko        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
1 e" x# k( `% \& z. m•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
2 }7 \6 J. s/ ~& d•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
) Y. ]! P+ X$ z" A2 B5 r•        Proficient in software use and writing.
8 }# d' B; r$ ]) p0 z* b0 B•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
