Scope and Purpose of Job
4 \$ g) A6 {$ JEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.6 R# H' |% M! Z# _) G G
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities* I( {8 W4 B7 l) z0 q' ^' W
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
" S# A4 C/ j3 [$ ^3 k( A: f• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.' T ~+ m, S+ j r0 D2 Y8 w
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems( c& ]( }! a. `5 q8 B
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
/ b; s& }; d) @7 `8 @• Assist where needed in application questions.
- U6 G/ l' Q. c• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.# S# R* f7 t/ [) y8 Z# r
o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
4 E9 @% T' W" u5 T" u4 h4 U/ x• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.' R' C8 }' R0 ]
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports+ e: j' b- L: L0 \& Q0 g
o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

& [; |0 }, i% u* fo Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)
b( @; f- B" T& B7 N5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers8 M7 B v( R. y( }4 h) L4 I
List of Skills/Qualifications . _ z. s1 C$ e* |% k
• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes./ F' m- L0 C1 v& w B6 e
• Background knowledge of dispensers and software & G3 |( Y1 o, k2 T' E4 q
• Proficient in software use and writing.
