Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment. C* \% K2 b; M( T; g5 ^
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
% d5 G6 S$ z1 {- ^0 x# U |0 K* o5 u- s• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.9 T# H/ s' y& |* @! U
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
! @: J2 V1 e# Y$ K2 p• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems* t \' }6 Q. G8 S3 i! }
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release5 A8 \8 ]2 \" O& G9 E
• Assist where needed in application questions.% t) x; ~" I; P2 v9 h5 L
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
! |+ |) x; Q0 A0 k$ Oo New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures

• Track and report all warranty failures

o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
; u. P ]6 F1 Z9 J* Z* D• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.+ A. s3 u: p. H8 f6 a+ V
o Assist in writing and new product specification8 N! V5 i0 F, A: Z# k
o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.- f' |; Z5 W% @1 _1 a3 p+ Z

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.( p3 _+ ^% ^! z% A$ t, s+ a0 c
o In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)
4 x0 y- @8 G" _! R4 E7 m5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers

9 ]0 B9 D. O# a• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.4 f% v4 K* X N f
• Background knowledge of dispensers and software

• Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
