4 K& ]* ~) T- e) Q; ?Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
4 j0 u; |: \( k2 u/ z. }Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
! l) c  c' |9 H# u" ]' a# N•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
3 A; o7 r5 R; l8 w$ z* e•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
# x' n) D& I. |# H6 b5 s•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
1 W! ]6 L/ g5 R' L' no        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
) r. K2 N7 |3 Po        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
- q( N, \  C) n; ?5 m( h( G! Q, Yo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
  W9 J0 C6 g, u# m•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
' E) P1 u5 x) l% j  Y, p$ bo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
+ D- m" p. @# R1 L' b+ Uo        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
+ k4 I% |4 b" Y/ P, p2 c8 B% N$ j& ao        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

* t( `7 y% N4 N$ w5 l. k* v1 SEducational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
& u* b! D4 e, v8 p. q' [•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
' b7 s3 C! g/ _•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
! I9 c1 I/ `5 q, m2 N# |•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
