) h0 o. U, H2 m! s; X1 DEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
* E) `5 s9 }" y- p% aMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
) Y! o9 b/ [7 D9 _+ Z7 a•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
) c5 Q! ~  @/ g  v; ^# zo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
3 C3 p7 h+ N( y' f•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
- d1 z* q' G* m% N•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
2 K4 M5 _' n; O5 So        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
2 _7 M) ~4 b& ^( Jo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
( @1 z& ^! g* l1 V8 Xo        Assist in writing and new product specification
2 N3 A) B% P& S  k+ yo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
' S) d* ]% q: bo        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
& J2 K1 r8 p  C5 o' f* ~•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

List of Skills/Qualifications       
+ v  ]$ ~& @; H" Z; m•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
/ _+ C9 T! g, Q•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
& G- V" o, R0 c•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
