8 j4 K2 Q* c) ^0 u( C& f" Y, YEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
) k3 N& {5 w; x; g( DMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
. T3 {3 `6 h* _7 J0 [8 Z* o; M+ i•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
' h0 v) u4 L' @: D•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
6 {% E1 J$ Q; F6 {" p•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
- H! Y& W0 x7 F. |o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
. v4 u- h3 X* e5 f! V5 E•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
  |4 X( `( D; \& \/ `" q0 {4 Ko        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
1 C, O* Y  ]1 |' y  M0 G+ J9 @•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
  i: a; k4 h1 U6 D: V' s6 G" to        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
) D9 O7 q% G7 ^/ {o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
! G$ v/ }. g7 z- s# s+ V: U: y' b& r+ }o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers

6 ~( b, a; a( C) ^•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.

•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
