Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment. k0 }" ~' H1 B
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities4 |; |$ t6 x3 n8 B% X! X! v+ ]
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
, @2 @& K+ L, J, x1 Q• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
& G/ J! C4 |0 ?* e. A- B9 K• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems

• Assist where needed in application questions.0 l0 v5 [8 L- n, w( j8 |
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.) n: K' B. V* N5 ?4 i
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

o Act as technical applications expert on development team.

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
