5 s. k0 ]7 M; u% ^/ v) hEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
; T% M' l) G% v7 Q! d0 ?Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
' r3 N/ R' s2 o•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
3 e1 q! n, ]* l3 T•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
7 q4 h/ u" h1 _1 j0 B% D* E3 a•        Assist where needed in application questions.
3 M; X( Y* L: S/ m  O' t•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
4 ^2 E4 q% n% `" V5 L- p" w•        Track and report all warranty failures
) x9 Q$ w/ H1 R& _# ho        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
$ P! r3 U% g- j# Jo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
' L9 u& g/ G6 Jo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
, z8 D# B( }1 Ro        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
' q+ e; d: K4 {7 s7 |3 oo        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.

2 l& }. [3 M* V5 ?$ P•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
2 i6 x' w" Q8 p, \! i" A0 i. t/ h•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
: N* x; D2 j, }•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
