Job Title: Product Technology Manager, Lab Equipment         Date: October 13, 2011

C9 J( J9 K/ U( x3 }4 }  WEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
4 `7 C/ U: F5 CMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
5 V+ L4 ~; S% X% c4 R' Y, y! I•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
, [5 E0 G( k, b" N•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
7 G8 \+ N: a# I  y+ X•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
/ z: F6 J0 c/ a. ?) L3 v& X: [o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
5 w- ~( k/ |7 G•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
! k( k+ f* D2 Y) o. a' vo        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
! p1 E. v0 w: A, Z4 G) L, ^o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
: ?: |7 B2 T7 R, ^9 P. h% F. I•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
& ^5 _5 E, G& |$ ?List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
  l8 A5 g! \: k* F# }( Y% L•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
! Y4 D; n7 i$ ?& c•        Ability to travel worldwide.
. h' n. L' S6 f•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
