Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

" J; Z) N$ O: o& K•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
+ }# E6 n9 ^/ D, s•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
& ~2 |5 t! z; F: X/ L6 g3 |: P( S4 ^•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
, }! b2 Q" j$ w3 Y) l5 @•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
# T/ p& q9 q; o1 l% Bo        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
- _; i0 [' m% ~( B& j% Xo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
% d: `- _' F, e/ p( z/ a3 Ao        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
" V5 j# K) B6 d. P' \o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
4 o% t3 C9 p# T- u- E% GProfessional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
$ r, E( [3 ~) b8 ~' [/ o, {4 X' ?% AList of Skills/Qualifications       
& r' p2 O; a  P% d7 w' a2 m& p•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
: z& d. W, j' v+ {# O, ?" z•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
