Job Title: Product Technology Manager, Lab Equipment         Date: October 13, 2011

3 H" h3 c! b% H7 s5 VScope and Purpose of Job
  T6 i" N- X, m' yEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

. E; P- \5 g' H•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
" L, E2 o6 u9 A5 ~) ]$ ^3 q•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
7 K1 r. _+ y; |! }7 @o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
6 Y% `, ]) C* z, U$ N# Q# V•        Assist where needed in application questions.
5 M( K3 Y6 ^+ p/ o$ k•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
% |! W- C7 z' E, Wo        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
- A1 a, u( Q5 Io        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

o        Assist in writing and new product specification
& H0 a+ w- ^. P0 g. `% E  s' m  do        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

6 e( F  n# I. O. v9 [  _+ y•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
9 i) V7 N$ l; I5 o. [2 Vo        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
2 X& H& S9 Q0 h; v" W5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
# o/ k( Q) N& A- v& }/ `List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
- F% I  g2 f, T7 N. A! s•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
( U3 P* J5 x% n/ O, ]) ^3 G% o•        Proficient in software use and writing.
7 }9 \- ]; w% e! G5 n* C' N. l' I( b•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
! w- G) V! e; q7 U9 `6 E•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
