Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.6 ?$ N4 _" E, j; l! B" u+ D% [
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
/ q- j2 I8 I6 s. E4 g) I+ N9 f2 p0 @• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems8 B" s- n+ U& G. s" E
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release. A7 l( e+ d O1 w$ s3 S1 }% n. N
• Assist where needed in application questions.; T1 N7 g: ^5 D( [$ y
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.3 {8 w. V# O, ^3 S
o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures

• Track and report all warranty failures# G( F }9 E9 e B! T+ `
o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.) \2 s) N' N+ y4 x7 y
o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.( J% M+ I, {5 a% D9 I
• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development." A5 b v& G. x1 v8 v/ v
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

o Assist in writing and new product specification

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.# E( z+ l) ?: x, y
o In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.) D' X4 R+ t# z0 @1 H
• Background knowledge of dispensers and software
