Scope and Purpose of Job
- `* n9 c4 g: `( t% L7 a }0 FEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.2 D, m' p- V( j/ \
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations." K/ ~/ |. t6 W- s2 r& ~
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
1 G! t4 M9 X' \0 C ^& r4 Lo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release v% a3 h( u6 T( [- o' o
• Assist where needed in application questions.( C2 V3 y7 O# S& `# R4 N' s |
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

• Track and report all warranty failures

o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
7 B0 P! ]1 a2 b5 Y• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
- D) V6 D4 h* k; B1 u7 \o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
7 }9 m$ J3 g3 y% b6 r7 t. ~o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

: U2 ]6 B! p! C# n( g! y% q2 Eo Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers, Y n: c" x0 F, n# B5 q
List of Skills/Qualifications + |% R( r, n8 u0 W' Z
• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.. t- A$ {" P8 c" Z
• Background knowledge of dispensers and software # y c" h9 u& N" S
• Proficient in software use and writing.
