Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.- w* K# {, R5 D& \! w6 ^
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities* y- f) i% b! E* |- B$ z
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
' c0 v4 u$ q m* A) g• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
- n6 p Y. l5 [2 ~4 J• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
) H2 g3 a6 A* Q( H3 P; V$ po Test all new patch versions of software prior to release

• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.0 @8 Q) h* P/ w6 r
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
' N2 `& F4 H; Z- e5 F8 ^: Fo Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
