Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
3 F4 K% t- M' P. v# }& A7 jMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
! Q5 o! @# ?2 U" E. C) V' m: ]4 t9 v0 L•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
" r- E: C0 w# U; G- Oo        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
- G# g! v5 c: Y, ^9 K. C1 y2 eo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures

•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
$ V: T/ X9 D8 Do        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
$ g( }. S# e' {5 _3 h•        Assist in Sales support & training.
0 f: \5 j* {- @7 \2 o5 S; Q•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers

& x6 C! z8 X6 M•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software

•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
