Job Title: Product Technology Manager, Lab Equipment         Date: October 13, 2011

Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
% q" N  C0 P6 I1 u& E7 D  n, p  L•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
7 ?& K: b, _; ?! g8 [# C# `; B% r& xo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
+ |  t4 W% `+ y! co        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
& @8 C0 P9 i2 [, |•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

% ^+ x2 k1 |. [8 L, Po        Assist in writing and new product specification
" a. K* L% {# oo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
/ `* {: P. @/ \: L8 q( j! ]+ W# e% No        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

- C/ I# y# q/ rProfessional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
* V6 H  K* z- w0 Q, ^•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
) [+ a$ A8 u$ v+ ~•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
