Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
6 Z, Q  k" w$ v3 IMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
; |# D' h7 @3 x0 {•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
; F7 G; e, `+ h' ^. t$ B- y8 Z•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
/ n- Y" f/ S! X4 v; uo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
/ \( ~4 `% o! u) K3 C3 @- x•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
' w) }  H9 k% G8 @1 ro        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
0 m& w; _: M* M  Mo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
" N6 g$ p( z" a$ {6 r6 N•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
' g5 g2 H) Q. Q  j8 e- vo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
$ m. R; c( _& D3 ?•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
& `0 o+ m! @) t1 f$ E$ P  G* Ho        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

2 k/ C+ b) X4 ]5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers

•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
) o# I, S, M, s: A- U•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
% A' Z- }; D  ]/ F! e•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
