Scope and Purpose of Job
/ o2 W5 k. t2 f/ z# dEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.* {9 X0 {! l3 k. Y9 K) A5 [
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
+ E- F0 O: e: w- l) V2 ~. `- F! s• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
# H" f! Q/ Z7 ?: x; U' ~2 v; h6 Wo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release

• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution. c% o/ ]+ w& u3 b% n8 p
o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures

• Track and report all warranty failures5 d0 w6 e5 s* |) z
o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.) O2 D' L. o; H2 g
o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.' C( h: D4 L% j3 ~
• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.' |1 M! z# m4 V4 u( g$ j
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
, H" Z, o# W3 o0 ~4 w& ]6 Ao Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.& Z& n! H1 h( u. c

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.) e5 [8 D- n" Q
