Job Title: Product Technology Manager, Lab Equipment         Date: October 13, 2011

Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
% a" K4 d# r( a' W* vMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
2 m  Q# _' [1 @5 c7 P5 x5 t+ d•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
! g3 T3 }9 I4 E5 j0 c& t: [o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
% ^7 Q. i8 l" d- _  u•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
1 S% v8 w; V& m) H+ W3 `o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
3 g7 D7 F" Q# a  ]* bo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
" t+ c" p8 O) i: |•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

7 [# G. Q! q# v9 N$ g" so        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
+ u+ Q7 \8 S5 d( w# v- io        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
; u. D4 K0 F* |+ K3 \•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
+ }1 T. T9 {2 Q9 Z3 w- o& ?& o5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
1 B+ v0 u, ?% O, F( @•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
2 {% D9 a* F5 T$ G- a. y' }•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
