Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.+ o& m, r2 {; x7 a
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities$ |7 o" Q( G6 P( s
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.6 x' I- Q9 C! u! L0 W
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.0 P9 J1 U+ q }0 T8 ?0 x
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems5 t' b- J r3 c* @$ y* [* N- ^4 z& L
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release, T! v2 E3 }' t, f
• Assist where needed in application questions.

o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.# b( w" z" N& I% \6 T3 u
o Assist in writing and new product specification W: v! v8 E0 |3 M
o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.% P3 S/ W* T/ J; A3 h9 F
o Act as technical applications expert on development team.; J( U# R' M. n) l6 O. L
• Assist in Sales support & training.
. d% M* H0 k& B6 z) o% ?• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.* Y% B& k! f8 K
o In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Educational / Professional Background Technical School Graduate

4 H4 f0 a2 E+ s! O0 }/ |2 _# e5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers. K% ~2 O- q7 F% p4 D4 n2 e

• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
