Scope and Purpose of Job
2 j7 y2 ~) C, A5 p( HEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
5 ~: ], u5 F0 w* O: L( w& YMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
. U- V; c2 G4 H•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
8 K6 E! R% p, Q8 f7 W7 j•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

o        Assist in writing and new product specification
8 _+ w. r8 W* h/ W& T7 ?o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
# z' \( S1 q. uo        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
* {1 D$ t) V& U" j/ e( RList of Skills/Qualifications       
0 D# R5 }3 V8 B, y6 X•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
" A1 h8 a5 P" K•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
$ T0 Y  B1 s, C0 E& x( [! t7 ?•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
