Job Title: Product Technology Manager, Lab Equipment         Date: October 13, 2011

* ^4 G7 g7 ^: Q% KEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
" J* e. p9 e. K+ T& B8 `6 YMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
: Y, U; r' P8 {" B) _•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
/ w, K- j$ S6 d7 A•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
7 z3 y* r4 X( F1 Q* c5 w•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

$ d8 ?* ]( r& c5 n+ u+ co        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
" z- e# t4 P  d3 d) Do        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
# n! R6 o9 G% N* {; I# @3 ]•        Assist in Sales support & training.
. {! o1 I5 x8 f6 ^•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
9 L: q2 A& i/ M$ }1 ho        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
' P) }$ \) Z$ U/ M/ |List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
4 D& J! ?' J% q6 ]8 t' S3 g•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
) C) b4 R% W% V) @& m+ E•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
' J( u# U2 Z* z0 |0 B•        Ability to travel worldwide.
$ l$ \/ i; u2 ^5 H( J•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
