Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.6 ~" n9 W0 D+ R1 p/ u% i! |/ M$ W
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
: b: g! l  j" e4 L7 ^1 m•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.5 f% s. ~+ F) ]- [) t) b
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
, L4 j/ \1 c, K/ S) w* ]•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
3 w6 q6 O( f4 g9 ]8 z( i0 ]+ To        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
$ ]& K" b: z# T; V8 B. X5 h•        Assist where needed in application questions.
2 J5 h# U/ y+ [& }5 N•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.6 f3 y8 y2 `/ b6 ^
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
$ t8 b6 o5 O3 P' W2 ?o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
; n( R4 l8 x' a  N7 m* Q•        Track and report all warranty failures
3 a+ Z( K& d4 \7 S. o: J; ]. No        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
7 N1 f3 J, o( E# H; U! Ao        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.+ U" E3 G- s: L) B. w4 u
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
* ^( ^- r6 O7 v1 T  ?o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports5 [& E- F6 j) H6 R
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.! {0 }$ Y" t% Y7 R
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
8 X1 [$ s) b7 b6 I, \o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
, X( y9 t2 N& N7 A. Ho        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
) [9 j' |8 I* u" O" Y8 \6 J( ^3 K•        Assist in Sales support & training.
% U$ L  c5 C  ]* u' d•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
0 y5 P& G0 {0 Y) r2 v: K1 a* wList of Skills/Qualifications        . n2 n# q1 }* r# F2 @
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.6 I! Q7 _$ q3 g% b; V/ f
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
* w6 H' t" f$ m8 ]( R•        Proficient in software use and writing.; a' B! W3 ?& P
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.4 u4 D# U* @2 ~' O
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
