Scope and Purpose of Job3 P* P5 B. L2 _( m- s
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.7 b  T. g3 Q+ K. b9 j) q! }
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
: D4 a8 E; h4 o& \: v% X6 @7 K•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
+ b( [! }6 u, v  B: B- L( Z# e+ yo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release( X5 P3 k6 k" d: m" e5 k
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
: |$ n9 {/ n: }* m•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.: b* l. j5 h) p2 S
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
3 V/ Q. ?. @4 Q! Q" V4 k$ Oo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed5 y! F$ }$ a# T$ Q$ b3 [
•        Track and report all warranty failures* S# |" F0 O! L8 i$ X
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.+ r" h$ ^  m5 {" Z; z- f
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
1 p3 B1 T: u* S" ~  O•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.& L3 ]+ B2 h. D3 \6 F# w' b
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
7 E, Y, E' A* q7 Co        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.! O7 Z2 Y, o9 ?. p( p
o        Assist in writing and new product specification/ y# F' k; b& |2 h
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
$ J! C6 \3 ?  a6 G( [* B; ~/ ?5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers( w& ~% ]9 Q: s' ~3 w  V
List of Skills/Qualifications        8 f& ~) |' ~8 g2 C) K8 S
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
4 e! e( K' c6 [- o  p/ ?7 R•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software 1 P4 l. I. v: K2 k1 z) {
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
