Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
; d$ _) S1 {. `- NMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
# u3 d0 b' {- G5 C0 M•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
. F! p8 i; E: b/ ^" Ao        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
) c* e# S; B8 |, F0 `6 z1 c•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
7 x% \% D" V6 C: p- W$ B  l$ H& Go        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
  `; u. W$ C8 D. s' n& ao        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
  m3 e" |5 M2 ?2 l•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
$ l( H3 T8 r9 u. do        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
0 [5 \- m. g! g; E( Q; c- P! c7 So        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
! }, n( n7 W. M' }* f, so        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
, @1 v  |, f8 i  m5 s, X1 o•        Assist in Sales support & training.
1 x8 J1 r4 u& w, j/ O( z•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
( d9 h: U$ n+ S' o6 Z5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
4 x: o7 @1 X9 \' `•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
  l, ?! h6 X( n% \% T. M  A5 m! ~6 c•        Proficient in software use and writing.
; w  ~6 @5 l& n) R: K•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
