J' J' lEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
) ^1 f( X3 a! J5 c1 t9 vMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
" @- o3 ]- C- D•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
3 h5 X( Z+ i) y•        Assist where needed in application questions.
9 e* ^0 x8 ]9 K' U! l•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
( X0 W6 I2 ~' ^* e, K' Io        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
# x* T0 a/ A# V" Do        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
% U, Z0 ^6 D, X- U$ Y: r•        Track and report all warranty failures
; M$ r0 y  J; g0 e% t3 I1 X7 Ko        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
0 ~0 G  v5 T9 W9 so        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
* Z: W" o9 {- q" `) K: fo        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
9 m; d4 f& C- }6 ~1 L# f) V•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
, ]  I8 P0 W. W  }) o& n9 xList of Skills/Qualifications       
. L7 P$ s) R0 O9 A•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
2 D+ k1 ]2 Z% c7 K0 R$ B# I•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
/ u8 }+ N- I  t2 x1 E& \, g•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
3 n' Q$ f9 F' g) R0 ?$ Q( u•        Ability to travel worldwide.
$ J6 G: j- F+ }, ~) Y•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
