Scope and Purpose of Job
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
4 ?6 B% I+ E) D7 n/ ]$ DMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
+ o' L# ^' ?) C•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
" ~: a: e0 b5 Y; A•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
! |+ I' R4 N. q  l5 b* _o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
9 b4 I% U$ ~4 _8 Go        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
( R0 b% C, ^. R, k•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
! \7 c+ d2 d! r4 E! {3 O•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
' b6 T6 |" `. ko        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
6 e* b/ M9 z2 Wo        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
5 `% H/ {* f2 D# I•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5 [. C+ d! Q  L5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
9 J- c/ Z2 t7 M5 G+ V•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
