1 |1 |- X0 z" ~Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.: K) @5 Y! f8 w) C
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* E k$ X) v' D. j: C" p- m$ ~• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.: {- r' G# [$ `
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.% w8 |( g* }9 l) g# X2 _
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems% a3 D+ _6 k2 V& q% \+ }" c
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
0 u1 ]7 j( D$ u; W/ S$ [9 [• Assist where needed in application questions.
0 v3 {3 ]9 F6 [• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed4 K* a, B- ]1 b& b7 H2 o% o L/ C
• Track and report all warranty failures" L; r8 S3 r5 `
o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.) b2 k: P5 {0 H$ ~) P3 Z
o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
% _: y8 U: L3 ]6 W' d2 F• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.: U ~. V' G" Z) v
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports) R' c" j+ ^# M M
o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

o Act as technical applications expert on development team.4 S; } C# O' N$ r
• Assist in Sales support & training.
& y7 y2 J' b) @5 Q• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
