Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
# q& E/ U( Z f" a5 I• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.+ {9 J& x) C- t/ |
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems* Q' Z8 U$ E. w+ s
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release& c( }/ w& |# W1 Z) z/ n/ f
• Assist where needed in application questions." j. a/ G ~+ l1 O/ a
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.- a: _: f- _6 e0 v
o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures

• Track and report all warranty failures8 `1 T; e- D& l
o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
4 O6 D( K H0 Xo Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
- W4 d0 w0 W; \8 o, W) y8 {* q3 Z• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

" s! P, _& }- mo Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

o Act as technical applications expert on development team.
