Scope and Purpose of Job
1 U6 e8 B  I) uEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
, Y; G4 N6 V7 V1 e& b1 p•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.: }9 w8 a* N: T* R
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
/ U1 X( M) L0 R, `( po        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
4 Z, z, D* J" K! Z•        Assist where needed in application questions.$ |6 |$ q/ `( O7 h) V; s" o
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
9 D$ ]3 I! j' w/ L- ~  Ho        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
" m1 N, |  {5 M" P1 Po        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
# |. ^9 p& |9 X3 ]0 K6 ~, U' m4 B•        Track and report all warranty failures
. e2 o3 s$ k7 `- K4 p5 u1 l7 F+ l' go        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.; B, b% k; K7 i0 l0 Y5 K
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
7 E) [) u; u8 k: X) I•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
) N( D) o2 p! f0 \  Ao        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
' D' ~. [0 n: jo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.$ F& A  l! h, y3 t
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
4 ~# h- p/ f7 ~8 c6 {" Io        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
( j4 O) \3 p2 X3 B' fo        Act as technical applications expert on development team./ t7 O- N2 R4 h! G6 ]
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
  f! y7 ^7 w- ]/ a( G4 R•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.5 i- }- l9 O2 V3 _1 G1 _
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.! W' g3 }. x# n0 G; e

; F5 L1 B9 e& s3 W7 W5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
: S$ P- N1 |  H/ g/ EList of Skills/Qualifications        ; H9 f+ m5 B. _+ U
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.8 `. u, `% f: |) _
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software ( P0 L6 X) j1 k8 ?3 s0 v
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
