: A9 ], h) M: AEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment." |1 ]) r7 ~" H8 x; k  q. @3 q3 o
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
% ?* M8 ~. n: K% W' k•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
& a# V! i. I6 s2 p, D) Y5 b•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
7 F7 g: f1 N/ a2 ?, x•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
/ g* T# n) ?2 A- Vo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
; Q- h+ _3 ]8 u+ ~/ ]+ J4 P•        Assist where needed in application questions.# A/ X2 `3 [* S! N9 l  W) {
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.8 ]" H* o9 [6 {# ]8 D
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures5 |; {& f0 Y0 u! z/ M8 P
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed1 @+ d5 _$ V0 d4 Q0 w
•        Track and report all warranty failures0 {- j  ^9 T  o! S' h# o( {7 I
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.2 {( x; v" v* V5 b4 J* q! V
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.# m1 [& c0 x9 D& X
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

) j' o  Q7 ?% z; j: D; mo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea." r  o+ B  X0 K' m9 H2 Z% V

o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions." b' I+ z. E5 |& l% J$ \* D6 i

•        Assist in Sales support & training.

o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

List of Skills/Qualifications       
3 ^( d0 c8 d$ n, U' z/ u( b•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.7 A) x) x4 L6 X0 ~
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software

) e5 ^, k5 J2 A: C•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
