Scope and Purpose of Job

T9 Q: n$ D* y' i# J3 ]* PEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues./ U4 P# B6 \ D* \6 C5 P
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
6 h5 L8 T2 Y3 I8 j) K• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
; p0 @, C6 ~5 S! ?6 k7 co Test all new patch versions of software prior to release" X$ k" t1 H7 j7 L9 t: p

• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
2 {$ F: x1 X! q- T) \; F3 po New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
- u' c. S1 c2 p3 d; _o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.0 l' ]- E9 F- W$ z" F; R) k) w
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports0 O7 B0 p: |$ _5 V# g* d
o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

• Assist in Sales support & training.
& a7 G' v" L( Q$ R, f" `( _9 ?2 L• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

Educational / Professional Background Technical School Graduate

2 K8 h0 }0 {9 V9 ?1 N( r: ^ R1 l5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
; F2 C- ?7 t: u0 u3 G5 Z: t9 o9 {2 CList of Skills/Qualifications
5 r8 L& q# T' }1 ?! v" i$ \• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.4 U1 M S! U8 ?/ k
• Background knowledge of dispensers and software 8 x; V* ?& R& \/ `3 A
