5 _# d: j- Z6 JEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.& a: M8 o A+ s# v& P7 T
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
! K# k* |5 t' h: n1 d' L, d• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
& K8 A& X8 R8 @' B% q3 E- H• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.- K8 ^* `* q! v( w
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
# n h0 W2 g" S1 [! T4 qo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release7 i! j0 W3 v" z! p4 Q4 \
• Assist where needed in application questions.6 w! m8 P/ l% O, d
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
) O+ O- F- p! U' J3 A; Ko New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures h1 k1 o+ D; [6 l4 h
o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed- y+ U' j: v, D2 R
• Track and report all warranty failures

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
; g, M0 |4 k& c2 [$ s3 u& co Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
3 V _0 O4 y/ I* a1 |o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

• Assist in Sales support & training.
# O. _, r8 S1 Q7 F3 T, Z• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
' A$ I' v$ k! C8 ~o In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.
