Scope and Purpose of Job7 u2 M7 @1 {" h6 I
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
+ X$ K# r6 l- Y• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.6 o% @9 l0 v5 ]$ D( N
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
) \/ ?, N3 j( w" ~. s, @' v2 Bo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
5 V2 o1 t# I* q5 B- L• Assist where needed in application questions.7 e' D$ e$ W" T$ s. g& H' O
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.' Y/ z; h, j5 M7 x) _9 Y
o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures

• Track and report all warranty failures

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.: W% U N1 g; q& ]" O
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

o Assist in writing and new product specification* x# v( O- s2 E+ |- ~
o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

• Assist in Sales support & training.

o In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers# A, Y9 G0 O4 d4 f
List of Skills/Qualifications
