- v7 E9 y! G0 E) YThe person who's saying there should be a cap: 61-year-old Susan Tollefson, a.k.a. "Britain's oldest mother."  
, r+ k, Q8 V1 EIn 2008, Tollefson underwent IVF treatment at a Russian clinic. Using an egg from a donor and her partner's sperm, she went on to become pregnant at the very ripe old age of 57 and gave birth to a healthy daughter, Freya.

    中央社报道，在TLC频道播出的“19个小孩还不够”实境节目，是以住在阿肯色州的达葛尔（Jim Bob Duggar）、蜜雪儿（Michelle Duggar）夫妻与子女们的日常生活为内容。

. L  m# @6 u" q* |7 j6 ^8 {& _4 R: v    目前从事房地产仲介的达葛尔，与妻子在1984年结婚，到目前为止总共生了19名儿女，每个孩子的年龄相差约在1岁多。蜜雪儿生第19个孩子时，面临紧急危险状况，曾经成为媒体报导焦点。

    2009年12月，蜜雪儿在有子癫前症的状况下，紧急剖腹生下第19个宝宝，由于比预产期足足提早3个半月出生，这名女婴出生体重仅1磅6盎司（约624公克），生下来后在医院足足待了4个月。

    达葛尔家族浩浩荡荡一行，8日透过电视媒体宣布，45岁的蜜雪儿怀了第20胎，预产期是2012年4月，并表示对这个喜讯感到相当雀跃。

    “生活科学”（LiveScience）网站报导，医师指出以全球统计数字来看，每名妇女如果生产次数越多，母亲本身的死亡率或新生儿的死亡率，也都会相对提高，已经产下许多宝宝的妇女，如果怀孕次数越多，面临的健康风险也会增加。
