Job Description:3 I; y I1 K; y* U8 [6 ^0 f' b
• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
# A! c5 q+ y) X• Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components5 w2 ^' i, J2 j/ L
• Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers3 |/ z3 f" q$ I' X+ ]
• Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams6 n- A0 S' |5 D
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place* h1 w" t) j; ]5 R9 B$ }& C
• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
* S; D* R! e9 U7 E0 m8 S% L8 n• File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
* X+ H. C$ M! B9 b2 ?: n• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting

• Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs% a' E. U* q: F* O+ k% E
• Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation ?) _/ { y: Y. E& o
• Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling
/ Z3 F- l, Q6 s, W* K, ^6 SEducation and Experience Requirements:9 n& Q$ W6 S: w
• Completion of secondary school is required
3 s# e: z* L4 S' c% Q• Completion of a three- to four-year motor vehicle body repair apprenticeship program

A combination of over three years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade
