will flash rapidly to indicate that the system is in Passive Mode.

to program the system for Passive Locking. With Passive Locking,

If your remote transmitter is lost or damaged, you can manually8 }) C+ [, E# T8 ?( i$ V+ K
override the starter kill. To do this, you must have the vehicle's
. c/ h' K9 o, iignition key and know where the Valet button is located. Be sure! `" T- c! E, G
to check with the installer for the location of the Valet button.9 P4 e* T z0 ]$ T1 p, `
To override the starter kill, turn8 n% C ?* [$ Y
the ignition on and press the
# l5 V; M/ U! [- }' o4 YValet button within 10 seconds.9 _) L5 m S, s1 C1 ^% B
The status LED will stop flashing
! H2 k% T( t) ^. O8 ^% Nand the vehicle should start. If it does not start,* P' J3 s h$ w3 p9 g
you may have waited too long; turn the ignition off and repeat the( n/ W; @, H0 x
process.

You can prevent your system from automatically activating the
0 H4 ?4 V" A* Q8 A) F8 s4 q g/ NFailsafe® Starter Kill and locking the doors by using Valet Mode.

In Valet Mode, the starter kill cannot be activated, even with the
