Starter Kill automatically (called Passive Mode). If the system has
7 H3 t; s/ s3 m* Sbeen programmed for Passive Mode, the Failsafe® Starter Kill will
! E7 O* G, i0 K: L4 ~& ~& u) Jautomatically activate 30 seconds after the ignition has been2 Y! h7 l+ X1 \/ M' T r: L
turned off. After the ignition has been turned off, the status LED- M( {/ Z# ?( A; z
will flash rapidly to indicate that the system is in Passive Mode.
3 A8 Q5 {6 v2 BIf Passive Mode has been programmed on, then it is also possible& p7 J8 p7 R* G* N9 c
to program the system for Passive Locking. With Passive Locking,
1 h4 ~$ O& ]7 U! dthe vehicle doors lock automatically at the same time that the Failsafe®
. ?; g1 y1 ]* S( \4 NStarter Kill is activated. If Passive Locking is programmed on, care( S% F) k$ s2 q3 A1 B @" N
must be taken to prevent the keys from being locked in the vehicle.

programmed) in 30 seconds unless the ignition is turned on.

If your remote transmitter is lost or damaged, you can manually
! O- c+ B c. d8 Foverride the starter kill. To do this, you must have the vehicle's
4 d; G0 C# G0 Fignition key and know where the Valet button is located. Be sure

To override the starter kill, turn9 y* G5 a2 w' h4 T
the ignition on and press the
