it's really easy actually. the blower is really just a motor and a fan. a fan cannot break. so the only thing that broke is the motor. go buy a motor (call around different stores for best pricing). then take out the old one and replace it with the new one. all you need for tools is a wrench. super easy. just make sure your electric power is shut off (from the circuit breaker panel) when you're working on it. 9 ?& O5 q( y/ o- v4 U v- J/ q3 X6 z0 P) i0 E
find out how many horse power the motor uses (i'm guessing 0.6HP) and the blower type (i'm guessing direct). you can find all those information on a sticker inside the furnace panel. 4 Y3 a7 a+ M$ K! w* s8 {: k7 I4 J3 e/ s: F+ N! H
the motor should cost about $50 to buy a new one. 1 w; j; f; l) @! b& q. o: C9 [1 y: ^3 T q- h
