1) Baggage provisions are defined as free baggage allowance rules and baggage charges.& N1 }7 S! W' g

2) For the purposes of baggage provisions selection, the following 4 step process should apply for interline journeys:: N9 }" H- i8 O

a) Step 1 : If the published baggage provisions among all participating carriers are the same; these provisions will apply.7 M5 @7 Z" {0 H( [- ?( Z) B

; \. u* f5 c- \b) Step 2 : Where the one or more published baggage provisions differ between participating carriers, apply any common provisions and where provisions differ the published baggage provisions of the MSC (Most Significant Carrier).: X7 {' d$ T8 U+ c, ?4 x% q
(In case of codeshare flights this will be the Operating Carrier, unless that carrier publishes a rule stipulating that it will be the Marketing Carrier).; f2 J; n# s8 n( f1 e" h5 Q5 _
第二步:如果规定不完全一致,则首先适用一致的部分,不一致的部分适用主承运人的行李规定! H8 O& C: ~$ N% U- R# Y
如果是代码共享航班,主承运人为航班的实际承运人,除非另有规定说明主承运人为代码共享方
2 k% R4 |" Y+ s4 A, D7 h& ]6 P1 y8 Fc) Step 3 : If the MSC does not publish baggage provisions for the journey concerned apply the published baggage provisions of the carrier accepting the baggage at check-in.8 e' ^) b4 h: t! N3 R h- g) z
第三步:如果主承运人无明确行李规定,则适用第一段承运人的行李规定( g. l! R+ R8 S: J. Q& ^
d) Step 4 : If the carrier accepting the baggage at check-in does not publish baggage provisions for the interline journey concerned apply the published baggage provisions of each operating airline sector-by-sector.8 T7 F" d6 ?7 R1 @
第四步:如第一段承运人无行李规定则分段执行各承运人的行李规定

( m- T& i. C$ C$ ^5 A0 o, A) La) : For travel between two or more IATA Areas, the carrier performing carriage on the first sector that crosses from one area to another.
% f6 z, p, H: C! B0 P) a( s如果联程跨IATA两个或以上的大区,则主承运人为联程内第一个跨大区航班的承运人
' C( q. g' w2 U6 w2 I- {Exception: IATA Area 1/2/3 only, the carrier providing carriage on the first sector that crosses between IATA Area 1 and IATA Area 2.( Y; l) V: N, _
如果同时跨越1,2,3区,则主承运人为联程内第一个跨1区和2区航班的承运人
5 L; T1 D% b4 w0 vb) : For travel between IATA Tariff sub-areas, the carrier performing carriage on the first sector that crosses from one sub-area to another.& ~/ n1 M# N+ T+ r
如果联程在同一个大区内,则主承运人为联程内第一个跨越小区航班的承运人6 w4 b+ J( X; K: {+ M9 H
c) : For travel within a IATA Tariff sub-area, the carrier performing carriage on the first international sector.4 g, x# f0 I" C, w; d. f; C
