-        Help define technical architecture and develop strategies for incorporating new
technology;
; s' U, Y+ n. T9 g" y+ M-        Identify where new technology can be used to meet business needs;
2 @) E- a/ f; _% V$ R5 s3 X-        Review requirement and design documents to ensure follow department standards;
7 k3 p) z1 C) M% ?3 ]: R& M% {-        Participate in peer reviews;
( p' x: k0 K% \2 ]0 @-        Create and Maintain technical documentation;
/ [* R8 y+ `" \-        Programming planned enhancements;
-        Testing system changes;
: w/ F! ^2 I2 K  {-        Ensuring changes to the application meet the department standards and follow the
  \* U+ m. t% d0 \department’s change management processes;
-        Providing Microsoft SQL database support for improving application performance;
-        Very good technical skills to respond to problems from other developers;
2 r5 H* I/ c* F# R3 z8 T-        Providing on call support after regular business hours as required;
0 H3 [3 i  ]; g. e-        Lead short term projects;
-        Effective presentation skills are required to communicate solutions;
-        Excellent written communication skills;
-        Knowledge of the Systems Development methodology is required to ensure
. ^5 r: u; s9 p2 I& Feffective delivery of service; and
-        Understanding of project management.

A. Mandatory Requirements
(a) Experience defining technical architecture and developing strategies
for incorporating new technology.

(b)        Experience developing multi-user/ n-tier/ Object Oriented applications using C#.net. (Maximum of two years of VB.net or JAVA experience will be considered as equivalent)

0 ?: _+ ^+ E" f) f% E, N(c)        Experience developing SQL objects for an MS SQL Server. (Maximum of two years of Oracle experience will be considered as equivalent).

( P' q% g% n5 n4 j" Y+ a(d) Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation with formal change management procedures.

(e) Experience working in an environment with a team of 3 or more developers

- ^+ D( T: T$ i" ?+ w' e: w7 x(f) Experience reviewing Requirement and Design documentation for quality to ensure application standards are being met. Creating and working with design documents/user requirements (software artifacts).

! a  B+ x( h; E" ZB. Desirable Requirements
(g) Project experience with formal development methodology.

- IBatis.NET, or MyBatis.NET
- Nunit

(i)        A minimum of 6 years combined related experience and education as stated below. Additional education and\or experience is preferred. Combined education and experience:
- A related University degree and 2 years experience; or
- A related two year diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution and 4 years experience; or
- A related one year certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution and 5 years experience.
